Crazy busy today, but all dd's morning lessons are cancelled and a friend's mum is taking her in after lunch (for her one and only lesson, 1 1/2 hours...) so she is home which is helpful. Making her a list too! I need to sew a shirt for a friend's dd's birthday, not sure I will have time though... Coming up next: Make ds a bow tie. Stitch up shoulders in dd's dress. Empty dishwasher. Reload dishwasher. Breakfast stuff away. Recycling. Shower and get dressed. Open shutters. Cook lunch. Fetch cheebs from school. Take cheebs to orthodontist. Take ds for eye test, not forgetting drops he needs in. Make eye appointment for me, have got to the stage / age of not being able to read tiny writing  Download free Friday cutting file. Clothes horse darks. Fold tumbled darks. Tumble dry sleeping bag. Fold up sleeping bag. Sort laundry loads. Wash ? Dd's list: Breakfast. Get dressed. Make chocolate cranberry brownies. YAY Friday is here!!!!! Happy Friday lesaulerouge and WTG on a great start to the day and a List for DD. Cranberry Brownies sound very yummy. I love Cranberries by themselves and other than a congealed salad I have never had cranberries in a cooked recipe. I too have reached the age that I have trouble reading certain things. I can not read item close up (despite the fact that I wear trifocals. Do you have big plans for the weekend?  I woke up late today, I actually went to bed went to bed once I got home yesterday. I am feeling better just a slight cough in the am (cleaning out after sleeping through the night). However, by the end of the day (after teaching all day) my voice is gone. This week has been a week of no productivity on any level. At this point I am just being demand resistant and a "slug". Today needs to be a turn around day.....time to get back on track. Of course I have not started the day out well, I did not get up until 5:27 so all I can get done before leaving for work is the bare minimum. Morning RoadRunner. Actually not doing too badly today. I've made the bow tie, but have left the back seam unstitched. I'm planning to tie it, then stitch and make some sort of fastening at the back, don't think ds could manage to tie it himself. Defrosting leftovers for dd for lunch, then she can walk to friend's to go to school. Haven't packed her bag for the weekend, but have sorted out more stuff. Cheebs have to be dropped at meeting point at 1.30 tomorrow, I think, then fetched again about 5pm on Sunday. One of the things we British people miss living in France is Indian food, so every now and then a few of get together as a bring and share thing. Friends are hosting tomorrow evening, so dh and I will go without the cheebs this time, dh has a recipe he tried once that he is, in theory, going to make, but it may well end uo being me that cooks as he has so much other stuff to do. I need to buy more chilcken though... I can totally relate to demand resist and and slug, though I got some stuff achieved yesterday and do feel so much better for it. A night out with DH sound like a lovely time. I have never tried Indian food! I hope DH is able to cook his dish and that it turn out yummy!!!

Overall yesterday was a good day, soent some nice time with the cheebs, got lots done.
Ds is now ready enough to actually go to athletics this morning (if he wakes up soon!). Dd just needs to actually pack her rucksack.
I still need to finish making the adjustments etc to the bow tie...
