Goodbye, Magda's Old Life!
DONE: opened three pieces of old mail. two were health insurance related (not bills), I put the with last year's files (need to make this years files). the other was property insurance related, I don't have a file set up, so I didn't complete the task.
I also looked for my lease. Did not find, which is distressing. Missing a whole "set" of files. Did find two other sets, and put them in the drawer.
I need to get my "travel documents" together.

I'm back to work and back to school, so will only be active here as time permits. This morning I sorted through a pile of papers and put a pile about 2 inches high into the recycling bin. I have other piles of papers that I will be going through later today (as I sort i am looking for some financial records).

I'll be taking a break from this challenge while I am on vacation, but I'm hoping I'll be able to check in and cheer everyone on. I'll be back at the end of March.

I was travelling for work last week and had a busy weekend so I am back on the 40 day train today. I will start with my office - 40 pieces of paper will be gone!

Worked on my food pantry. Threw out a bunch of "open stuff" that was going stale. DH has been on the family food tour and never wants to eat again I'm trying to eat better so also pitched a bunch of "tempting food" for both of us.

I only read back on this page, since it's been about a week since I've updated. I keep forgetting. However, I've been keeping up with at least 30 minutes a day. Today, I did about 90, and I've still got one more 15-minute chore to help with (cleaning in the boys' room). Good job, everyone, on all your work. mylittlescholar, I hope you have a good vacation. When do you leave? You're doing a cruise, right?

On my snowd day yesterday I kept dealing with piles of paper. I did not count, but I know three times they were more than 40. The last tI'm was about 10.
I am getting into the habit of bending over and picking stuff up and dealing with it. That was the ultimate goal!

Good for you ohblondie!
I'm one report behind, so:
3/10 10 from main desk 3/11 10 from main desk 3/12 10 from box in 2nd BR 3/13 10 from main desk 3/14 10 from box in 2nd BR 3/15 10 from box in 2nd BR
I'm enjoying this challenge because it's flexible and doesn't require a huge chunk of time and yet it's chipping away at my backlog!

Threw away an old kitty bed and grungy litter mats.
Yesterday, emptied out our window box planter that was falling apart.
Today - about 2 dozen magazines went into recycling.

Once the snow melts I have more to toss. I am feeling particularly accomplished about cleaning up around the washer and dryer...Hopefully that clean space will spread throughout the basement!
