I have one goal this year - to make better use of my time in order to not waste so much of it. I feel better when I get things done too, even just fun things, and it's really not that much of an effort once started.
There is no format intended for this thread - just whatever works at in the present moment. Everyone is free to join in.
Here's hoping for a great 2018, in whatever form that takes!

This morning the sink if already filled with suds and dishes. I also want to do some yard work later, if the weather permits.
edit: some dishes washed, picked up odds and ends.... Need to water some plants.

After working a couple hours (on and off) this morning, I've decided that the initial goal is to create more clear spaces. A lot can be done fairly quickly, if nothing more than putting away a few larger items, plus cutting down boxes from Amazon. I love boxes, but there will always be more available.

Up early today and got a few things done. Did another round of dishes, put some stuff away, cooked and cleaned up after myself.
This afternoon, I filled the trash can and put it on the street, along with the green can. Checked my neighbors recycling bin, and there is room for some of my extra stuff, but will wait till the morning just before pickup in case he plans to put anything else out.

Great Goal BetsyMarie, very transparent, it stands to reason that if "we"make better use of our time our homes and routines will fall into place. You are off to a great start. Happy New Year!

Thanks RR, and a happy New Year to you too. This morning I took a couple containers of recycling and put in neighbors bin. I may try to put in more later. Also, I emptied the dishpans from yesterday and they are now ready to do dishes today, if there are enough. Today is going to be 'put things away day'.
