i'm t doing the opposite of what you said.
But you said you're deciding what to KEEP instead of what to get rid of? If you're deciding what to keep, doesn't that mean you're getting rid of what doesn't make the cut?

Hey, as long as it's working, just keep doing it!
I just posted in the Lent challenge and the stretching challenge, and while doing so, I realized I have completely abandoned the weekly challenge and the procrastination challenge. I've decided to change my procrastination challenge from one per week to 52 for the year, which will let me catch up. I have so many procrastination items that I could do 500 in a year. But I will be happy with 52.
I have to think of some new things for the 2-month challenge because I did a simplified version of the 2 things I listed. Oh, and I have to post in the book thread too. But not tonight.
I only have the cats left, so I'll say good night now.

Good morning! Since I cut back on walks there are only a few days when I have both AM and PM work, but this is one of them. So the trick will be to not waste the time in between. Puppybox, I hope you continue your productivity into today. Magda, good luck with the last trip preparations. TO DO: Finish breakfast Scoop litter pans Pigeon care Diane

Looking back, last week was an exhausting week at work. I crashed Friday night. Sat I worked on the kitchen. I wrangled a shelf into storage cabinet to make it easier to store toilet paper and paper towels and cleaning supplies. I am not happy with it but it will work for now. I cleaned out a corner of the kitchen where the puppy tore apart his Christmas stocking. I also got laundry done. Picked up a bag of trash in DD''s room. Picked up all of the socks on her floor and in a huge pile of laundry . I have a basket of socks for her. I think hubby is going to let me take the big closet. I don't want to start the transfer pro ess yet until I know I can get it done in a day. I need DD''s room cleaned out first.
I packed 2 care packages for my son, one to mail out this week and one in a few more weeks. No treats, just toiletries and such.
Birthday party last night, church this am. Then another blessed day off....and dedicated to caring for my house...we were going to paint the kitchen but ladders are at DD,''s house.
We will find plenty to do.....

diane it must be hard to have am and pm walks, i can never relax if i know i have to go out again. and i'm afraid to start stuff. especially in winter when you need energy to pay attention so you dont slip, i get afraid of using it up. also because i always get wet when i'm cleaning and you can't go out if you're wet. glad you dont have to do that every day anymore. i woke up early because of the dog hogging my bed scratching herself and consequently i was sick. i feel much better now. not immediately but i'm going to take dogs out. separately. make something to hide dog pills in. declutter dog stuff look for sponges tidy kitchen take out garbage take out box of dirt ::checkbox-done::feed self make dogfood feed dogs and portion and freeze rest laundry wash dog tidy front hall round up and declutter bags ...........ongoing front hall closet? vacuum? buy dog meat and ham buy sponges exercise walk with gooddog walk baddog feed dogs again

Had a nice day off yesterday. It was even sunny outside! Time to get back into some kind of routine. I got a shower, took my pills, had a light breakfast, and got myself out to WW this morning. Now I'm going to do some kitchen work (clean-up and food prep stuff) before lunch. Will check in after lunch.

See you later dtesposito Clocking in (Late as usual) to get stuff done. There's a hole in my clutter/trash combination in my garage. It brings me energy because to me it feels like a start and a beginning. It's also a visual representation of something epic (I hope) like change. This is getting good ... I'm going out there.

Good morning (now afternoon) dusty!
Def, I hope you're getting stuff done in the garage.
i can never relax if i know i have to go out again.
YES, this is my problem too, puppy. Well, I actually CAN relax, it's WORK that I can't get done. My attitude is that I have to go back out so there's no point in starting anything--even though I might have 3-4 hours. Which of course, is ridiculous. I like it much better when I can group the work into one batch.
So, now I'm in that situation--I stayed a little later at my senior client's because she was not home, so I restocked all the litter pans and extra litter areas, also collected recycling from various places and took it out. I came home, ate lunch with a reading break, and now have about 3 hours til I have to go out again. I have NO motivation at all to do anything. But I'll force myself to start.
TO DO:
Clean up from lunch Wash some cat food dishes Empty and clean out human dish dishpan Make some book notes

Ha ha. I have done 2 of my 4 list items, and they are the easy ones. I got a long call from my senior client, she had questions about how the cats ate today, and questions about politics... Then my sister called, she sounds much calmer than yesterday, when she was upset about her couch not being delivered. While we were talking her neighbor came over so we're going to talk again tonight.
Now I have a little over an hour left before I have to go.
