Hi all
Hope all are well, feel like I've been awol for ages ☺ I had big plans for this week, but builders are starting digging up our driveway tomorrow so no doubt it will create a load of mess so will make a start when they've finished.
Clean under sink cupboard

Well Happy Fall ya'll! A cool 67 degrees here this morning. We are as much as 15 degrees cooler than 2-3 weeks ago. Finally had a dab of rain. not enough, the ground is still extremely dry, but at least things are cooler.
After being up a lot several nights in a row chasing off javalina and 2 packs of coyotes i did my markets Fri night and Sat morning then slept all Sat afternoon. Worked on fence all day Sun. Needless to say not a lick of house work done. Working a whole day today, then off the rest of the week so hopefully will get the fence finished up.

Happy Monday to you too womble....... I hope the builders don't create too much of a mess...... I am starting off this week with a positive mindset/attitude....I am hoping a positive attitude will turn into much accomplished. I am afraid the dog has had a couple of accidents at the top of the stairs. The smell was rough. But I found things that previous dog (and my DD's dog) had peed on and I removed them. It smells much better there. So maybe it wasn't the new dog. I still have to shampoo the carpets on the stairs. I really want to rip them out as the rest of the carpet is gone. But DH wont let me because some day (within the next few years - not anytime soon) we will be removing the tub from the upstairs bathroom and replacing it. And he wants the carpet on the stairs so when the tub is dragged downstairs it wont scrape the stairs. So I have to put up with yucky carpet (it collects dog hair like crazy) until he decides to redo the bathroom. Plans for this week Dishes daily Two loads of laundry Menu planning and food prep Clear out another couple of spaces in the LR - and move one box out of the way - it is a tripping hazard clean both bathrooms this is an easy list - I should be able to crank it out in two nights...but I will spread it out to make sure it gets done. Welcome to a new week everyone!

Good morning womble--nice to see you! Good luck dealing with the driveway work, at least it's outside your house and not inside!
Mary, I'm so happy you have a little relief from the heat--I'll bet it feels heavenly to have 67 degrees overnight. Now if you can just get some good rain!
We are due for a week in the low 80s, which at this point is considered above normal temperatures for us. But I won't complain, this is why I always keep the air conditioner in well into the fall, there is usually a warm period after the first nice, cool weather.
I'm hoping we can go shopping this week, the current forecast shows rain on Friday so unless that changes we would have to go Wednesday. That means I have to get a lot done today. I'm finishing up breakfast and trying to make some structure for the day--that usually involves making some kind of game out of what I do--not exactly a game, but something involving a list of rooms and dice rolls and where to work next--otherwise the day slips away very quickly.

Good morning all. I’ll go back and read posts at lunch Beautiful day here; sky looks like a Monet painting, soft blues with gentle wisps of clouds. Done:Fed cats Put away clean dishes Washed breakfast and cat dishes Drove DD to school Made bed Got ready for work Packed lunch On the way to work, stopped to help a dog that was running directly into traffic on a busy, winding road. 😢 Another person stopped too. Dog was scared, had a collar and seemed to have broken through an electronic fence. Dog kept heading toward one area where he/she may live. Dog disappeared, we think it ended up home, and enlisted help of a kind neighbor who will check and be in the lookout. Dog obviously a pet At work trying not hard enough to be motivated. On Monday don’t you get credit just for showing up ?? Need to prep for big meeting after lunch, a fact finding mission for me. Next Gather docs that I need for meeting Head to gym for lunch

Good morning magda! I hope the dog made it home okay. Good luck with your meeting prep.
I just did 3 dice rolls for PEEPing in various rooms. I will alternate 3 dice rolls with things from my regular lists.
TO DO:
Clean up from breakfast Scoop litter pans Start some brown rice cooking--I bought a box of instant, I will see how it tastes compared with regular Delete 25 emails--getting behind on these again

I can't believe it, I stubbed my toe in my newly decluttered, spacious looking plant room--on something that's been there in that same position for years and years. Maybe because it looks so spacious I thought I had more room! Ouch.
Next:
Next 3 dice rolls
Start load of laundry Put brown rice into small containers (it's really tasty!) Do one of two remaining small projects in plant room

Happy Monday, nice to see you womble!
I had never heard of javelinas before, maryaz, what a fascinating creature--from a distance!!!
ohblondie I am going to state the obvious--please ignore if it doesn't apply, my intent is to empower you not to slip into learned helplessness with your DH--but I am imagining that there are other solutions to protecting the stairs from dragging the tub down beside keeping smelly carpet. Perhaps you could do a bit of research, online, or at the big box store, because other people have faced the same issue. Yes, DH's solution is one of them, but what I have gleaned about him is that he doesn't always think of alternatives. Especially to prevent Cali from thinking its okay! Good Luck!
go, lennon, go! I love how you start you lists with "things I will do"
Thanks for being a Doggie Hero, magda! and for your lyric descriptions of your environment.
That doesn't seem fair that you stubbed your toe, Diane! Gazing at all of those open vistas!
The rain never came, so we rearranged our putting tent up schedule for nothing, and now we are behind. The pressure is on today, to get a LOT done, as guests are here tomorrow and we will be serving them outside!
So I really need to stay in action, and manage my attitude. Keep my "professional" hat on, and not take things personally. I think I will be using chat today.
DONE: checked email checked messenger
helped DXH with marketplace helped DM with third painting caffienated took meds checked weather
NEXT UP: check online balance
call G back (D's mom is declining rapidly and we need to rally around her) wash up and get dressed put my apron on!

Gazing at all of those open vistas!
I know--too much clear space to look at! You sound very busy today scholar, I hope you get everything done that you want to do.
I ate lunch, worked with plants for quite a while, made a phone call to my bank that I had been putting off, and wasted some time online. I have a feeling that I will be spending some time on the phone tonight, so I'm going to just walk around and try to do the most important things that I see. The cats need a feeding, I think I still have to hang up my laundry, and I never did go out with little library books today, so I should probably do that.

Okay, I've done the research I needed to do, had the meetings with DPs, and we made the decisions we needed to make. Also made the phone call to G, she had some very ridiculous ideas. At least DM and I are on the same page and could laugh about them.
I am not doing very well with managing my attitude. Took a meditation break, to no avail,
Now I think I'll break down some boxes, which will give me instant satisfaction.

I took it easy today it was a rest day.
It only took a few minutes to tidy the balcony and get it back to 0 B washed all the dishes and after I had Vetiver oil on my hands for a few hours they were ok enough to put the dishes away. The week is starting in good shape. Its looking nice weather wise.
