Good Morning AGAIN! Made one list yesterday - then I faded off Thanksgiving was chaotic and after our overnight guests left - I just needed to re-group. Then I had more people over here last night for "leftover night". Today is the day that the holiday decorations come out!! 1) get cleaned up 2) laundry 3) start moving furniture to make room for the tree rugs. We have porcelain floors EVERYWHERE and it is death on anything fragile. My most fragile ornaments go on a small tree inaccessible to the cats. So, I have two very fluffy white rugs that go under the two big trees.

My most fragile ornaments go on a small tree inaccessible to the cats. So, I have two very fluffy white rugs that go under the two big trees. Bonus: Ate breakfast All the holiday decor is in the house now. Three rugs. Three trees. 10 regular bins. 4 double bins. 3 large wreath bags. The equivalent of 2 tree bags of stuff that doesn't fit in bins. Next: 1) laundry switch 2) put down the rugs and see if they need any cleaning 3) start working on the office so that I can put a tree in there. Translation: has to look OK for people to see it which means a well organized stash/dash because I won't be able to look for anything until after the holidays. My tree for the fragile ornaments goes in there (no cats allowed).

Put bases down on the rugs. Vacuumed rugs. Now I suppose I'd better work on the office - that is items 1-10 for the next two hours Can everyone say avoidance!

Funny I guess it was two hours - sigh Start working on the office so that I can put a tree in there. Translation: has to look OK for people to see it which means a well organized stash/dash because I won't be able to look for anything until after the holidays. My tree for the fragile ornaments goes in there (no cats allowed). GOOD ENOUGH LM (little munchkin) is eating all the tree parts on the ground Next: 1) laundry switch 2) have DH help me put up the trees 3) Put away the stuff I took out of the office before I start unpacking decor boxes.

Mmmmmm strawberries 1) laundry switch 2) have DH help me put up the trees 3) Put away the stuff I took out of the office before I start unpacking decor boxes. Going to put supper on and do a bit of PEEPing with all the stuff I have to sort around here while it is cooking. DH is loving our new tree even though he wasn't happy when I went and purchased it 10 footer! BUT turns out that the base is self connecting so all you have to do is put it together and plug it in. He wanted to donate our other smaller tree and get one like that I have two different bulbs on it and you have to find two connecters per section and of course the connectors are all the color of the tree - green wires. It was such a pain last year that I kept sections two and three connected - I think this year I'm either storing them upright OR will put colored tape on all the connections. Looking festive already around here.
