I got somewhere between four and six days to prepare for a garage sale. I need to make a detailed list to break this bad boy down into baby steps.
PHASE I: Get a Grip evaluate space in spare room that includes stacks of boxes with items for sale create space to put things that are in the garage currently that wont be fore sale set up label station to label boxes and or spaces so I don't lose track of where things are
open up boxes, put stuff to keep in pile, stuff to go in garage
vacuum the rug as I go
evaluate categories in the garage to identify what is going into the spare room figure out what corner to start in, and work around the room, relocating what I need to
PHASE II: Clean and Set Up the Garage take things upstairs, etc. that don't belong in garage put bags with recycling in the van put boxes to keep in the spare room break down boxes to recycle and put in the van
more TBD

You are becoming an expert in dealing with garages used for every conceivable purpose! In addition to your transition muscle which you told us about, I am positive that your brain, leg muscles, and back muscles are getting stronger all the time, too. Go forth and rule all The Stuff!

I like all those check marks in your list. And now you have a table. Your organizing brain is strutting its stuff!

I'm no longer aiming for participating in the garage sale, but I think the minimal cleaning and organizing is always a good thing! Decision making is totally beyond me at the moment.

Makes sense to me. Glad you're not kicking yourself over this. Hooves hurt, you know.
