Encouragement first:
You can do this! Usually motivation follows action, but right now you have a very strong motivator and deadline to work with. Glad you've already reached out to your mom and friend to help. Use the forums but don't get caught up in too much detailing of what you're doing or reading.
You asked for Suggestions.
Have a plan:
Tackle trash, kitchen, bathroom, and daughter's room as top priorities.
If you can, have gloves, masks, garbage bags, cardboard boxes and packing tape ahead of the weekend.
Locate or buy a large dustpan, a couple of brooms, cleaning products, toilet bowl cleaner and brush, and a mop.
Decide how the trash is going to be dealt with (i.e., do you have a collection bin, or access to a larger vehicle to take garbage away?).
With a sharpie, label the boxes as paperwork/bills, clothing - yours and clothing - daughter's, box for donations and box for items that have a home and need to be put away (by you).
When help arrives: ask them to start removing "obvious trash", break down empty boxes if more than needed, and put "like with like." For instance, all clothing in boxes on bedroom floors, dishes in kitchen or in boxes on kitchen floor, paperwork in a box, toys/school items in a box in your daughter's area.
Ask your mom and friend to help with cleaning out the fridge, clean the bathroom, and cleaning your daughter's bedroom. Soak pots/pans in bathtub if necessary.
Start laundry or put in piles by color if you are going to take them elsewhere to wash.
I think the inspection will first look at:
1) Daughter's needs: whether your daughter has clean access to food, a clean bathroom, and a clean bed (with sheets and blanket), and clean clothes. Not to say she doesn't already, but having all this should be obvious with someone coming through to inspect.
2) Safety: Clear pathways to exits and ensure the lighting is adequate.
3) No bio-hazards: if pets are in the house, remove food on the floor or any waste (if there is any), sweep mice droppings or obvious dust/cobwebs, especially in your daughter's room. When finished, all pest waste and evidence of mice is cleaned up.
You've got this! Let us know how it is going, and we can either cheer your wins and/or offer suggestions.
