Good Morning WITers! goldenthreads, I was just contemplating whether nail trimming should count as something! Thanks for letting me believe that it should count as a ta-da! ta-da: Released chickens... Their water was frozen this morning. Usually I put a heat lamp in the coop in the winter, but I haven't done that yet this year. Fed cat, and gave meds to her Made some tea Emptied the dishwasher and started reloading it. Started some food prep Tossed an old Girl Scouts water bottle that had belonged to DD. I couldn't get it open, which made it easier to get rid of. to-do: Continue with food prep CLA meeting starts soon. Trim nails?

ta-da: Some food prep Tidied up bedroom some. Tossed some things that I would have resisted tossing in the past Trimmed finger and toe nails. Called into CLA meeting
to-do: Get mail Take out compostables Continue with tidying up
There is no big rush, but I need to complete some forms to be able to claim some pension money that is due to me from previous employers (from back in the '80s when pensions were still a thing.) Look for Home Depot print out of "gift card" from completing a health challenge through my employer I printed it out about a month ago, but am not sure where it ended up.

Hi all. Ally said: "Released chickens... " I assume you've seen the old movie 'Chicken Run'. I just saw there is a sequel soon to be released on Netflix. Dawn of the Nugget. I have a friend briefly stopping by tomorrow morning so I need to make the public rooms more polished. Still too much stuff just sitting about, which will remain, but things like picking up cat toys off the floor, kitcheny bits, dusting, vacuuming, etc need doing. And unfortunately I have an appt this morning which will bite into available time. done: -morning routine -picked up floor, partially, around couch -dealt with stuff next to kitchen sink todo this afternoon: -scrub stovetop -vacuuming -litter boxes Ive done a lot of work this past month, but it's not yet polished... But it will have to do.

BetsyMarie, I never saw "Chicken Run". DH took DD to see it when I was working way back when. I should see if I can find it on Netfix or somewhere. Back to work!

Ally I figure trimming nails helps prevent holes in socks and snags in clothing, so it saves time and money, which can then be used for direct desqualoring. Hi, BetsyMarie! Visits are such good motivators, aren't they? Started dishes soaking. Made a grocery list. Had meds and made bed. Shower and get dressed. Wrap present. Wash dishes. Empty shredder. Deal with fine. Errands: library, grocery store, Goodwill

beesnest, you are doing great! This reminds me... I have a wasp flying around in my bedroom. It's FREEZING outside, How did it get in? Where is it from?!? ta-da: Started a load of wash Added more items to the dishwasher and started it Got the mail Took out compostables Watered houseplants to-do: Continue with laundry Continue with dishes Fill out one of the forms I need to claim a pension. Later this afternoon, I might do a quick cleanout of the chicken coop, and hang the heat lamp.... or this might wait until tomorrow I was looking at the forecast and think I will put off my outdoor tasks until tomorrow. I have some tubers that need to be dug up and stored for the winter.

BetsyMarie , I never saw "Chicken Run". DH took DD to see it when I was working way back when. I should see if I can find it on Netfix or somewhere. Back to work! It's not on YouTube, unless you buy/rent... I looked yesterday. I haven't seen it in years, but love that animator (Wallace and Grommit series). I'm not on Netflix, but next time I am, I'll watch the sequel. Speaking of 'back to work', me too: -de-cobwebbed -wiped down a few walls -cleaned a toilet -wiped guest bathroom counter Todo: -vacuum -more sorting -cat needs

Good morning WITers! It's the last day of November, lets make it a good one!
ta-da: Released chickens Loaded most of the dishes into the dishwasher Put mail in mailbox Knitted a couple rounds on a hat that I'm making Ate a bit of breakfast Sorted/Shredded a bunch of papers, found HD gift card
to-do: My cat is not eating well. She will eat a couple bites and then walk away. I have several bowls on the kitchen floor giving her options. I will take the bowls and clean them out and then run them through the dishwasher. It's unclear whether she is not eating because her teeth or if there is something more serious. I just realized that I didn't give her her meds yet this morning. I'll do that now. We started her on meds for hyperthyroidism a couple of months ago. We aren't the type to spend thousands of $ on pets. I will try to decide today what our next step will be. Unfortunately I was not at the vet when DH took her last time, and he has ADD and misses a lot. He is adamant that we can't afford $1000s on cat care. I'm rambling here. Dishes Clean the kitchen sink CLA meeting
Later: Local poinsettia show at local greenhouse. Might post photos later Dig up tubers outside. I have dahlias, cannas, and elephant ears. There are a few perennials that I haven't gotten onto the ground yet. I've been meaning to do this for a few months.

BetsyMarie, It looks like you are off to a great start! ta-da: Took care of cat food bowls, gave cat her meds, coaxed her to eat a bit more Started the dishwasher Called into CLA meeting. Remembered that all this stuff I have is pretty worthless to anyone after I am gone, and I don't want to leave it all for DD to deal with. I know this on some level, but need to be reminded of it frequently. Knitted a couple more rounds on the hat to-do: Get the mail Do more tidying up, Laundry room, Kitchen, Bathroom etc. Prep work for a big pot of soup Get ready to go the greenhouse Dig up tubers from yard.

Hi, Ally. Hope your cat regains her appetite and gets better. Would the hyperthyroid meds depress her appetite? BetsyMarie I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your visit! Put away dishes. Had meds and made bed. Started dishes soaking. Wrap present. Empty shredder. Wash dishes. Get dressed. Errands: gas station, Goodwill, grocery store
