Welcome to December! The guidelines for WIT are simple: - Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. ☝️ - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing. - Once you have 3 things done, post them here! - Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again. - You aren't required to do the 3 things you had planned on -- just get any 3 things done and then post proudly.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, or just need to break your tasks down into something manageable, you are in the right place!

Good Morning WITers! Thanks for starting the thread beesnest! ta-da Chickens were released into their pen (out of the coop) Gave cat her meds Ate some food Assembled chicken door, which was delivered yesterday. My dad and I had made an automatic chicken door about 10 years ago using an old motor from a car window, and a bunch of odds and ends, it worked well for years, but then maybe the motor wore out, I'm not sure, but it quit working and dad isn't up to troubleshooting anymore, so I ordered a replacement. I bought a cheap replacement last year, but it failed after a few months. I hope to install the new one on the coop sometime over the next few days. I might have to make some modifications to the coop to make it fit. I'm going to wait until this afternoon. to-do: Tidy up kitchen Communicate with DD. We had talked about putting on our snow tires today, and making applesauce, but I'm not sure what she is up for. Laundry? Clean bathrooms I haven't scrubbed the toilets in a few weeks

ta-da: Loaded the dishwasher There is still room for a few more items... will start it later Scrubbed one toilet Called into CLA meeting Sent message to DD to see if she wants to get together today, and whether at her place or mine
to-do: Continue with decluttering. Look at chicken coop to decide if I need any more parts (maybe wood trim?) to install new door. ...
