I don't have much energy, but would love to get a few things done this afternoon/evening...might have to do turtle steps...

Good afternoon, people! I've made a list of small tasks. I have a 12-side die that I'll roll. I've allocated a generous 2.5 hours to complete these. to me and everyone! Discovered more dust on lower part of nightstand after removing neglected hobby items. Dusted it. Ran duster, lint remover, and hand vac over the upholstered chair. Started dishes soaking.

Good evening, guys and dolls! It's good to see everyone's accomplishments today! I took it easy until this afternoon. Head cold, I think. Then I went out and did errands. I was really happy to find the new-ish UPS store is in the same plaza as my phone provider and a grocery store. 1. Boxed up, labeled, and dropped off the equipment to my cancelled service 2. Got help setting up old tablet so I can use it in place of laptop (which may not be salvageable) 3. Bought the ONE missing ingredient for Lasagna of Terror (I add "of terror" to any experiment in cooking; in this case, fine-cut green beans replacing half the spinach) 4. Used gift certificates (mostly) to buy a stationery storage box 5. Dropped off a box of donations; bought a legged knitting bag (I don't know if they have a proper name) 6. Unpacked and put away incoming items; dealt with packaging IMMEDIATELY I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I accepted a no-buy/low-buy challenge. Sometimes I'll include related tasks in WITs that are also related to my squalor, such as... 1. Find something in the pantry that goes with salad and make it for dinner 2. Enter the receipts into the tracker; throw them out; put tracker in designated "home" 3. Hunt down all stationery and related items

Hi goldenthreads - I just wasted a bunch of time, too!! Took me a very long time to get up... TA DA Decided to make and eat dinner earlier than usual Turned on window candles and tree (still enjoying holiday lights) Cleared stuff out of dish drainer Gathered some dirty silverware and put in pot to soak I really don't want to do anything, but pushing myself to wash at least a few dishes would be a gift to myself. TO DO Take dirty dishes into kitchen Empty crockpot vessel (which has been dirty since Christmas Eve ) and put on floor or somewhere out of the way Wash one dirty dish item

Ran Roomba in the bathroom. Spot vacuumed the areas of the floor that are available (no room for Roomba). Washed dishes. Did stretches--first time in months. Felt strange but good. Took out recycling. Set the alarm clock for an earlier time. Deal with a situation in the fridge. Not now--tomorrow before the grocery shopping. Move TV to make room for cookbooks and planning materials. Tomorrow. Tomorrow's errands: Goodwill, library, office store, grocery store

Good morning, guys and dolls! I go back to work Monday, so this morning I'm using the Pomodoro Method for doing paperwork. A "Pomodoro" is 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break. 1. Dressed to socks 2. Put two packages of nail files into box for March donation (My plan: go through my winter clothes then and donate what I haven't worn this winter. It will also cut down on my temptation to thrift-shop!) 3. Weighed in; ate breakfast; java 4. Four Pomodoros of paperwork 5. Made bed 6. Put pijamas in laundry basket 7. Put bill payment in mailbox 8. Put items in recycling 9. Cleaned bedroom window I'll do three Pomodoros of housework

missjean I had thought 'pomodoro' meant tomato in Italian. And sure enough it does. Apparently the name of this system came into being because the originator used a kitchen timer in the form of a red tomato to time his sessions. Love it. this morning: -enjoyed with purpose the lovely sunrise. Pretty clouds, crispy temperature. -put in a battery and installed a new computer mouse -cat tasks Todo: get started! -cut down big box -pupa in entry -find video to watch/listen to while working

Hello, BetsyMarie! WTG on purposefully watching the sunrise. It's a bit too cloudy here. 1. Sorted yesterday's mail 2. Got the hamhock from the freezer and made peasoup 3. Made lavender honey bread 4. Added "instant yeast" to shopping list 5. Took one small bag of trash to outdoor bin 6. Added more to recycling 1. Go through today's mail 2. Reconfigure electronics now that I know what works 3. Clear and tidy chair that became a catch-all
