after almost a week and doing some catch up today, I am still at 86 in the inbox! This time I wrote down the action items I still need to take. Think I'll add them to the March Challenge.

90 in the inbox today. I guess that is my "net?"
in any case, I need to keep paying close attention at the moment.

Scholar, do you mean you got 90 emails in one day? Or that you're down to only 90 emails in your inbox? I keep meaning to count how many I get in a day, but never do--I know it's not 90!
This week again, I only deleted emails--a couple of days I didn't reduce the number but did make it up the next day.
My oldest one is 7/7/2021

both, kinda, Diane. I am posting my current # of emails after the day's review. aiming to get to zero.
mostly tracking it this way because deleted emails are going to both trash and archive and I don't want to keep track of that.
current inbox: 69

"net" inbox got up to 80, today back down to 79 the ones remaining are essentially deferred decisions, ugh some days it seems beyond me to think in this mode but having set up archive folders by year has made it easier
I have been able to keep up with my digital finances.
I have started to go through the backlog of paperwork. Lots of action items I am unburying. how do you spell that? Some of them are digital. not sure I will post them or not.

this morning I briefly saw a notice of password breach on my iPhone.
spent some time trying to retrieve it. changed some settings while I was at it. searched the internet and discovered it was likely a scam.
did some online shopping, and updated saved info.
I have been overwhelmed by my inbox a lot lately. plan on working on processing paperwork, etc. today. Ultimate goal is to do this every Friday. now I will put this in my calendar.
current inbox count: 84 unsubscribed today: 2 photos deleted: 143

I often accidentally or intentionally save articles and websites on my computer's reading list. Today I went through the whole list and deleted all the accidental, uninteresting, and no longer relevant items.

I seem to be holding at 85 unsorted emails. just deleted 66 from trash my subscriptions have settled down, yay!
BUT I went to an Earth Day event yesterday and signed up on a whole bunch of new lists!
new action items: - transfer all of my data to giant back up thumb drive
- transfer photos to friends and relatives on smaller back up thumb drives
- consider deleting editing program that is no longer supported that uses a lot of memory
- reduce saved photos so I'm not paying
- maybe split up photos so I can use free services?

Email deletion only again--before the long handyman work earlier in the month, I had gone below 2,000 emails which I was so happy about since I started out with 10,000. However, during the work I went back up over 2,000, so I'm currently hovering right around that number--once I can get back to concentrating on them I will get below 2,000 for good--right now I don't want to say I'm there until I'm sure they won't creep back up.
I have so many other things I want to do for this challenge, hopefully soon...
