Happy Monday (tuesday) or Tuesday (monday) to me! I was fortunate to have yesterday off and I was so busy....,.I overslept this am and had to hustle pretty quickly to get to work on time...mostly.....
I was finally able to get my grandmothers marble top table set up in the Glam Room. I out a lamp on it and a small radio. I actually played music while I worked. I was able to set up the other table in the guest room by the bed. I set my laptop on it, there is a small basket that holds my reading glasses, a bottle of water and other random things. The bottom shelf has a bigger flat basket holding books, a puzzle book, my sewing kit (until I get the sewing room set up) and a box of kleenex.
Looking at my weekend list: This weekend Laundry - as a background chore (jeans, jeans, jeans, light cold, bedding) Finish tying off a blanket and get blanket in the mail
Go through leggings and find a home for the XL ones.
Swap out table in "glam room"
Get extra table in basement ended up in guest room
Dishes Clean out fridge Clean out car (after dishes are done as there are dishes in the car) CHange sheets (might have to wash the current set as I am not sure where the other set is
Clean clothes put away
I am working from home tomorrow so I will wash all of the bedding and get clean sheets on the bed. I did not clean the fridge but I think some things got tossed. Maybe tonight I can focus on this
OK - off to clean up my work schedule and get things done here.

Good morning! Ohblondie, your room remodels are happening! A marble topped table sounds beautiful.
I'm waiting for the library to open.
The high will be 57 today!

I went to the library, and then I came home and called the vet. As I feared, she is taking a few days off, but will be back Thursday. I made an appointment for Thursday at 5:30 for them to come to the house for euthanasia.
The dog has been having more trouble walking the last few days, and I see more and more signs that she isn't happy. There aren't many things that give her enjoyment any longer except eating, which lasts about 30 seconds per meal, and sometimes, attention from me. But because of her anxiety, there are times when I go to sit with her on the bed and she looks worried because she thinks I'm going to make her go out. And sitting there longer doesn't make the anxiety go away.
I have also started worrying that since her spine is deteriorating, what if she falls off the bed or even while walking, and causes a fracture. That could cause severe pain, or paralysis, which means I would have to find a way to get her somewhere immediately for euthanasia--that would be the biggest nightmare.
But the main reason is, she is no longer enjoying her life, and if I wait any longer it would be for my benefit, not hers. So now I have to keep busy and get through the next three days.

Thank you ohblondie. I have basically done whatever I felt like today, the only useful things I did other than animal care was that I washed all the dirty dishes and collected a couple of loads of laundry to wash tomorrow.
I think I'm going to put the living room back the way it was, at this point it just will involve moving one table back to the LR, and one small stand with a plant back to the DR, plus pushing the couch back across the room to where it was. I can move it back after Thursday.

catcat prayers for your DGD! Diane I am so sorry to hear about puppy. I know how hard it can be to let them go even when you know it is for the best and is really the only way forward. (((Hugs for you and Puppy))). Puppy knows how much she is loved! mylittlescholar I am glad your got your wallet back. I would still change all my credit/debit card numbers. I am still struggling forward. My new trial habit of doing at least 3 thing in each room I am in is slowly paying off. I was trying to do 5 things but that is too much right now. I may even have to drop it back to 2 at night before bed (or even 1 thing). I am starting to look forward to retirement. I am not there yet but I can see a glimmer of it and it is filling my thoughts with hope and not dread like it used to.

I have been doing the dailies the last couple of days and some laundry. Today I went to the attic for supplies and wrapped a gift for my friend, Dot's, Birthday. Gathered the tax papers together. Went through many receipts and shredded a lot of them. Called Chewy. Called in a payment for insurance. Talked with my BFF in CT. Unwrapped 2 boxes that were delivered.
I wish good things for everyone. Thank you, TML, for your prayers.

I am clearing out new areas and trying to keep up with maintenance. I shined bathroom sink tonight and swept floors. I also picked stuff up and put it back up.
So far the doing 3 things in each room is working out for me. Even if it is just picking up three coins off the floor so I can vacuum when the floor is clear of non-vacuum stuff.
I am trying to get bedroom and master bath reasonable by Friday. Contractor will be over on Friday and I would like him to look at windows in bedroom and start costing out the tile work in the bathroom.
Night Everyone!
