Good afternoon scholar, lion, and TML!
I did go back outside earlier, I spent most of my 30 minutes digging up more lilies, I only have one little stubborn patch left right under the fence that will be a challenge to dig out. Then I sat for another half hour, just listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. The butterfly was back again so when I went inside I cut a few pieces of fruit and put them out, who knows if it will help anyone, but it can't hurt. I also saw a large insect pass me by with a loud buzz--could have been a fly, or could have been a bee.
Then I took a long reading break, and did some PEEPing.
Just now I went out for a final half hour, I just sat and chopped up branches into small pieces so I could fit more in the yard waste bin--they will finally pick up this week, at least they're supposed to. I will probably call them on Monday to make sure. And I definitely saw a large carpenter bee go under the porch where they were living last year! So, the first official bee sighting, the day after the first official butterfly sighting.

For me, WALK, OUT and TREAT were always spelled out. I do think that after a while the dog was starting to learn what T-R-E-A-T meant too.

CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity that is such a wonderful garden scene I am still working on getting started today. The goal now is to get something done before I go back to bed. I am not sure how I will sleep tonight as I have basically napped most of the day. I am sure I will manage.

Lion, I figure if I make myself go out multiple times a day my muscles will get better at yard work. There's SO much to do out there and it isn't even planting time yet.
I did a few odds and ends but also did a lot of resting today.
But I guess that's okay.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

I finished the Lenten Challenge! I found the deadline motivating. I just dropped off the donations at the church bin on a late night run.
Two of the items were new with tags! But both items were bought in 2020 and never worn. It is a relief to get them out as they were guilt inducing. Hopefully someone will be delighted to receive them.
I also did go over my bills, did a lot of paperwork sorting, recycling and shredding.
I made deposits at two credit unions filled the gas tank Returned two shirts. I bought them for my biz trip but did not wear them and tags were still on. One I was not sure if I’d ever wear, the other a better chance, but I could use the money more. So they are gone and won’t be Lenten donations in five years!
I also bought DD an Easter present.
Took puppy for a walk Did the dishes Cleaned the litter Did some laundry
Now Gnite!

I had lunch and then spent half an hour in the yard.
My shopping friend will call soon and that mean I'll be on the phone for the next couple of hours...
I just looked at the forecast and we might get some snow on Wednesday!

Long conversation with my shopping friend, she's not doing well--she had started having more back pain during the last week or so, and then a CNA came in while she was sleeping and quickly flattened the head of the bed, despite a sign on the wall saying to "please change bed position very slowly due to severe back pain". Since then she said she can barely move and is now going back on the stronger medication she had weaned herself off of.
I'm going to do one more list before dinner.
Next:
Retrieve dry laundry Move case of water out of living room Vacuum chair that we might move upstairs this week Clean 2nd floor toilet and sink
