I was just contemplating the fact that this is sort of the dawn of a new era... a new "reincarnation" for all of us. It reminded me of when I was first reading through Kimmy's original writings, and the initial formation of Squalor Survivors by Pigpen, during that time.
That step was in itself a new era... a *lifesaver* for so many people over the years, and I am confident that this new board will continue to carry on that fine tradition!
Let's all take advantage of this new beginning by making a new, positive beginning in our homes and our lives... for each person, wherever this need most lies.
Today, let's each do something wonderful for ourselves... make a real difference... create action that will transform into motivation and enthusiasm.
Let's celebrate the dawn of a new era!

Yes, Pegasus, I think this can be a fresh start. I will mourn the loss of the old site, but it is lovely to see so many people here!
I will make a real effort to polish up my home this weekend!

What a great idea, Mystic Pegasus. I'm two days late reading this post, but I'll take that idea into this weekend. Tonight I will do something to really make a difference around here!
And you're right, SS was a lifesaver for me too.

Today, let's each do something wonderful for ourselves... make a real difference... create action that will transform into motivation and enthusiasm. I have been really struggling with some issues lately. Today, I am beginning a NEW ERA in my personal life: filing some papers (mucho important) to begin receiving one of my pensions on Jan 1'09. I got the papers ready for mailing yesterday; I will drop them at the post office on my way to the gym. This is NOT a trivial matter for me, and although the money is most welcome, it is a signal to me that I am not a spring chicken anymore. I am proud that I did NOT procrastinate too much on this, and just spent about 35 minutes tidying papers in my office. I still have to do Round Next for my DH: maybe I can attempt this now, thanks to your encouragement. Luv from Script and thanks to all who are making this NEW SITE so wonderful already.
