Hi everyone, i am thrilled and excited, and sad as well, to have discovered so many wonderful people willing to help others with this problem. thank you for all your time. i am only just coming to grips with the level of my squalor and whilst i acknowledge there are many reasons, both physical and emotional that have brought me on this journey, i know that now is the time that things must change. i have three amazing children, who i fear see this as normal, and i can't bear the thought that i have set them up for a future filled with the same difficulties i have. i look forward to learning from you, and sharing the journey we are all on. pehaps one day i can help someone else begin this adventure.

Hi! Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I know what you mean about the children. I share that same concern.

Hi Chez A big welcome to you It's great that we can all communicate online, no-one has to feel alone and not understood. There is lots of support, practical tips, and humor on this board. It's been a great help to me, and I hope it will be to you too

Welcome, Chez. I have made a huge difference in the lives of my children, as have many many people here. It doesn't take conquering the entire house to make a big difference for the kids. Just dive right in, and start where you are. You can do it, and we will be here to help.

Hi Chez, I am in Adeliade, SA too. A friend of mine holidayed in Perth, she said it was very beautiful there. It should be easier for us, there is that big space in the middle of Australia, we could just truck all the mess and clutter out there....
