Um, if it's ok, I'd like to ask if emoticons can be added to what is already here because I have no idea how long it will take me to learn to get them other places and bring them here and I have what I think are some good ideas (pausing for air, gasp, wheeze). How about one that throws kisses? And one that shows a relaxing vacation like laying out on a beach with a cold drink? I'd still love a cute octopus.

and one planting flowers? There's some more housework, cleaning, bathing, teethbrushing, gardening, and yardwork smileys at www.freesmileys.orgTheir home page says: "All the smiley faces here are free to use and hotlink to". (However, each gallery page asks you to please use their forum "LinkBack Code" to help them grow.). The ones I'm referring to are on their two gallery pages called "Smileys doing their Chores and/or Working":www.freesmileys.org/smileys-chores-001.phpand www.freesmileys.org/smileys-chores-002.phpIn those menus, you'll find one of someone watering a red flower. (this could have dual use -- to symbolize gardening or to symbolize watering one's houseplants). And another one of someone in a garden full of flowers. (not sure if they're planting flowers or picking flowers). You might find other smileys of interest in the gallery pages I mentioned. According to their copyright page www.freesmileys.org/copyright.phpmost of their smileys are in the public domain. -

I'll work on this tomorrow evening, ladies. I'm finally done with a massive revamp to another website I manage. I'm ready to dig in here for a bit. I'll upload the emoticons CL_SS gave us to our SOS Photobucket account and update the code, then I'll see about finding those still would like to add. Thanks for the suggestions!

- Still asked another question as an addendum to another thread: Question #2 I LOVE the selection of smilies! They are so much fun! Would it be possible to add one of someone writing and an octopus one? Regarding WRITING smileys: On the same freesmileys.org working/chores galleries I mentioned above, there are four smileys that might work. This one is probably supposed to be a harried office worker, but I use it when I have stacks of paperwork to do. I call it "paperwork" (but you could use it for "writing"). This one looks like someone writing a document, then throwing it away, then rewriting it. I think it looks like someone writing a list, too. So I think it could have dual purpose as "writing" or "list-making". This one looks like a very FRUSTRATED author. Probably not such a good choice! This one looks like someone calmly writing. Could be used for "writing", paperwork, list-making, correspondence, or even schoolwork! Very versatile. I'm NOT suggesting we pick all of them. Just one or two. -

After rereading CL_SS's post, I realized we couldn't use them. I can't add URLs to smilies in the clickdown box. I made my own, but they aren't all that great, particularly the octopus one. Oh well! If we find something later, we can replace it. Our new emoticons brings us up to 75 additional smilies.

I was looking at the last 10 posts option and found this one - you are sooooo sweet for finding all those emoticons! I LOVE all of them, but a speical thanks for the octopus because I'm probably the only one who will like it.

The writing smiley with the hair sticking up would be perfect for MPs. The other one with a single piece of paper with the regualr pen would be perfect for making lists or writing letters and stuff. They are both great. The one with the quill pen is funny. Nothing wrong with expressing frustration - we do have sad smileys and stuff. ... just my two cents. You guys are WONDERFUL!!!! I love the octopus if it is an option.
