Hi there, i have been looking at this site for a while, just out of curiosity i guess. I am a 30 year mum, with a baby boy and 10 year old girl and 12 year old boy. I live with my hubby and kids, no animals at the moment. I am a messy messy person, always have been and i guess always will be. I see that i am quite similar to a lot of other people on here. My house is either clean or trashed, hard to have a imbetween. Also i get depressed and have no motivation. I do admit that since living with my hubby, last 4 years, I have improved a lot. Our house is usually liveable, we just have clutter and dirty clothes, papers books etc everywhere. No food or dirty dishes much. My kids rooms get terrible, we have a rule of no eating in there bedrooms or even drinking now, because they dont clean them enough. But they seem to think that there wardrobe is actually there floor ( i have this prob too and so does hubby ) there floor is also there desk and sometimes there floor is also there bed. When i was a single mum to the 2 older kids, i was very depressed and there were days when we lived in a totally trashed house. Anyway, sorry about the scratterbrain intro. Just thought id say Hi. Jo

Hi Jowith3 Welcome to the board and the group. I too have always been messy and cluttered. My husband is the opposite. He is ordered, scheduled, in wonderful physical shape and lucky for me he and I have been married for almost 40 years. I hesitate to think what my living space would be like if he were not here. Come often and share the journey with us. We are willing to laugh and cry with you, celebrate your success and mourn your failures, but always be hopeful and supportive. WELCOME!!

Hey Jo, Welcome, you are among friends here. Sounds like you've been messier at some points like most of us and you would like to be cleaner than you are now(like me). I have the same problem with the kids and being really messie . The truth is I have not felt like I can demand clean from them if I am messie myself. Since I've been coming here ,I'm turning all of this around now, you can too.

Welcome, Jo !
Sometimes it helps to focus on what you are doing right, on what has improved. Then build more good habits on that.
It's good to have you here.

Hi Jo! Welcome!
With the exception of having one less child and missing a husband - I could have written your intro, word for word.
Make yourself at home and join in any where!
