Hi there! Trying to get into the chat section but when I click on the link all I see is first an error message that comes up that says
Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error
then when i click ok i get past that message to a screen that has a link to java chat software and then nothing that resembles a chat room underneath. Am I supposed to go sign up for the addon chat that is linked to the java chat software?

I have had that problem too!! I haven't been able to access the chat room. Do you have to sign up for the addon chat that is linked to the java chat software? I think it would be great to be able to chat.

Thanks Eagle for the step by step... I did the java download but I have a malware software on my computer that keeps popping up during the download that is interfearing. So, I am still working on it but the instructions have helped. I just need to find some serious time to try it again!

Can you turn off the software temporarily while you do the download & upgrade/installation of the Java software? Then turn it back on. I have sometimes had to do that with my Norton software in the past for other programs.

Packy, What do you mean by "I have a malware software on my computer that keeps popping up" ? - Do you mean you have an ANTI-malware program that won't let you download the java?
OR
- Do you mean that there is malware -- a harmful program (virus/trojan/worm/bot/etc) that is running in the background that periodically pops up ... that you have been trying to remove?
Regarding ANTI-Malware programs ... Eagle mentioned disabling Norton as an example ... well ... Nowadays, I would STRONGLY advice everyone to NEVER disable antivirus to make a download go faster. I did that a few months ago, and got infected with a horrible thing that took me tons of time and money to eradicate. Never disable antivirus, even for a minute. It's just not safe anymore -- there are things that infect even if you don't click on anything or open anything. Really. Truly. I've researched this since it happened to me, and can PM people reputable sources for this information. However, if you have BOTH anti-virus AND anti-malware, I would recommend checking the customer support websites of both programs for advice. Regarding malicious malware infections:If you have an active, nasty malicious malware infection insidiously messing up your computer, then I can understand why you're having difficulties. I don't want to give advice here, because A) every computer is different, with different hardware and software configurations, and B ) any advice I give you woud be outdated by the time you read this. (Things change that fast!) I hope you can get some reliable, accurate, professional assistance. -
