I cleaned off the bird deposit left on my outside love seat. Now I can sit out side and enjoy the fresh air.

I cleaned some finger marks of the bathroom door yesterday. I have just noticed some on the kitchen door - they might be next!

I could drape a microfiber cloth over the broom and sweep the cobwebs off the ceiling. . .

my second one thing (not counting under the bike) was the runner carpet in the bathroom. it's textured and offwhite -- and I guess the tub splished out some and got to the sponge I keep there for that very reason -- which is charcoal colored since it is really a part of some packing material -- and stained the corner of the carpet -- u.g.l.y.
few inches of stain.
I'm sure it annoyed me everytime I saw it but i didn't do anything about it.
well, now I have.
turned it around (it tucks under a mat on one side) -- and the stained part no longer shows. the part that does show now is not pristine, but it beats the other all to hell.
****
next one thing: the big black fan. put it in a black bag and clean it. [it accumulates dust and i'm allergic to dust or something in it-- and it then blows it up my nose. more or less. sigh] ok.

well, I didn't do the black fan. yet.
but -- !! i did come up with some other "One Thing"s. Got the legal briefcase hung up on the high nail in the hallway ( use of ladder). and -- while up there -- got the christina cookbook put back in the cookbook section (high up). and looked at the section in the living room that's been a chaotic pile -- and asked G. how to fix it - then just followed instructions. it's much neater.

I have this very expensive ergonomic office chair for my desk.
Seven months ago the wheels (casters) broke.
So I began sitting on BROKEN crooked folding chairs. I continued doing this for a few monhts.
Sitting in this horrible twisted fashion caused my hip to have problems, which caused a cascading series of health issues.
In March, I finally bought a decent folding chair for a whopping $10.00. I've been sitting on that since that time.
And going to physical therapy and all kinds of treatments for my hip/leg issue.
NOW, today! I read this thread. I found the invoice for my good office chair. I phoned the chair store. I found out that it will cost $40.00 to replace the wheels. That's all! Here I was thinking it would be this HUGE process with repair people and everything. Nope. Easy.
Thank you for this thread! I ordered the casters just now. They will be in next week. I will report back here when my good ergonomic home office chair is completely fixed.
Wow.
Thank you.
