Thanks Squirrelgirl. The more support the better cos the family is fighting me over clearing things and keeping them in their new places.

Ta Da's
Cleared sitting room
Clothes sorted and mostly dried
Kitchen part cleaned
Food boxes emptied ready to move to kitchen
Still To Do
Sitting room got cluttered again.. grrr
Pretty stuff from kitchen dresser to sitting room dresser
Food stuff into kitchen dresser
Bathroom/landing area
Clear/clean hallway
Am working on staying calm with kids and mum while they get used to changes. Instead of asking them to take their things and store them I've decided to use named boxes/bags and leave in their spaces for them to empty. I'll deal with 'house' tidying only.

Yes, its difficult to get family to cooperate and get used to change.
Be strong and keep up the good work!

Good work on your list! Labeling their boxes or bags is a good idea!

Hi Squirrelgirl and Saffron.. thank you for the support.
I was reading on SS about family reactions last night and am pleased that it's quite common and understandable. I did take their behaviour as a reflection on our relationships and got very upset. Now I can rationalise it I'm back on an even keel.
Ta Da's
Sitting room cleared except for filing.
First weigh-in at Slimming World.. lost 3lb!!
All three dogs had diarrhoea mid-morning yesterday that carried on all day and Kelly has a lump on his face that started bleeding so had to go to the vets. He's on antibiotics and if not improved it will be removed and tested when he is neutered next wednesday. Apparantly it's not uncommon for lumps like this to come up in their first year.
So not a lot done and it's my 'day off' today as mum is in daycare. I'm going to DS 8 school this afternoon to see all the work from their Arts Week and buy what he's made. Then meeting my DD from her after-school Japanese course and buying her new school clothes. So still a productive day, just not inside the home and some decoration for the house that will be very personal and not cost a lot.

All last week's jobs were completed.. not bad considering what was going on. I've had to take up part of the hallway carpet. So a relieved Ta Da . To do tomorrow Thorough cleaning of sitting room and hallway. Washing of hallway remaining carpet. Finish sorting clothes in shared closet for kids to try on and discard not loved/too small stuff. So much for my day off.. ah well.
