I found an old driver's license when I was going through a box recently. Since it contained proof of an address I haven't had in 15+ years, I checked my state's "Unclaimed Property" web page. With just a notarized form and a copy of that license, I'm now anticipating receiving FOUR old checks, some of them for more than $50!
Thanks to you-all, instead of feeling like a disorganized loser, I couldn't wait to tell you, and suggest that you check the site of every state in which you have lived. Could be some $$$ coming your way!
