Hey, if removing one thing seems like too much right now, try identifying what thing you'll remove this evening, and rehearse it in your mind, especially how good you'll feel afterwards. When you're learning a new skill, mental practice is almost as effective as physical as physical practice.
I do this frequently, and it's soooo helpful, and not nearly as fatiguing!

Hello Shopgirl, I certainly can identify with your immobility right now. But, by golly, you should be so proud of yourself for doing dishes, laundry and such. I know the feeling of opening the door to the "messy" room and just closing it again without doing anything. Yesterday I tricked myself into cleaning a small area. I told myself that I would not be allowed to go to bed that night until the small area was clean. Fortunately I started early in the day and was finished by three pm. The actual work didn't really take so long but I would get sidetracked and had to go lie down a couple of times. I agree with the idea of seeing your doctor. The latest events in your life my have triggered a hormonal imbalance causing you to be depressed and unable to move forward. Tell your doctor the sun just isn't shining in your world right now and you think you might need some meds. NOW GO TO THE DOCTOR. from Handymandy who understands completely!
