Wtg entropy, Crimson, merry, west and others!
Crimson- you'll do fine. Getting hired is the hard part these days.
Re: Whole Paycheck - I only buy toothpaste there.
They're the only place in town that sells Tom's of Maine and that's the only brand I know of that doesnt have yucky mint flavor. It's not much more than normal toothpaste either. I certainly don't do my grocery shopping there unless there's something unique that only they sell!
Regarding the meal plan, whoo boy, i'm not sure how healthy it is, but what I do right now is either scour my cookbooks (i have over 100 due to inheritance this year..sadness, but i'm glad to have them), or allrecipies and a few other websites. Some weeks I cook asian, other weeks not, but i basically just look at the ingredients and try to avoid heavy sugar and heavy fat.
This week I chose some from the low carb menu (some of them are not, this does not follow any diet other than "try to be good") which b/c of a horomone issue I have, is really better for me. The recipies I chose for the week for those curious are, some of these are main dishes, other sides.
Zuchinni Oven Frittata (allrecipies)
Sausage Egg Muffins (ditto)
Mashed Cauliflour (think mashed potatoes)
Chicken Cordon Blue II (all recipies)
Eggplant Tomato Bake (ditto)
Greenbeans (do I need to explain this?)
Souvlaki (all recipes)
grilled monte cristos (my own healthier version of my favorite restaurant deep fried goodness)
beef w/ red wine sauce (southern living 2006 collection)
Honey Chicken Salad (ditto, probably the least healthy of the bunch but I seriously suspect i'll cut down on the mayo and swap it to light)
Grilled Pineapple
and some parmesian risotto (out of a box). It lays out like this.
Breakfast alternate between the Zuchinni fritta and the sausage muffins (which have no bread, as the case is, they're just muffin shaped)
Lunches are (rotating as cooking time/not going bad time allows)
Chicken Cordon Blue II with mashed cauili flour and green beans
Eggplant Tomato Bake + parmesian risotto + Souvlaki
Grilled monte cristo with raspberry sauce! + an apple
Dinners are (again, rotating)
Honey Chicken Salad (SL2006) + leftover whatever (x2)
Beef w/ Red Wine Sauce + egg noodles + small ceasar salad (SL2006) (x2)
leftovers at least once as I'm sure they'll be scraps of this and that.
and planning on Quiznos on tuesday on the way to meditation.
The grilled pineapple and some fruit leather I have are snacks I can take to work in case I work late (common occurence) so i can eat that and not the TONS of free candy in the office half the time.
And for the lengthiest post ever
