It was more than luck: you learned a SKILL, and used it to find your ring.
Make sure that the steps in your "happy dance" include a few pats on your back!

In some other post you have also mentioned that your rings keep falling off the bedside table. Maybe if you put them in a small bowl, or a little box, or plate, they would have harder time escaping?

Marigold we think alike! I was going to suggest a ring holder, too. I am so happy for you BTT. Saving your ring because you took a moment to check!!! That is great advice for me, too. I keep my inhaler next to my bed on my nightstand. I haven't needed it in months. Until Friday. Of course it was not there. I KNOW my cat knocks things off, but I had that attitude "eh just leave it". I have learned a lesson, too. After crawling around on the floor, trying to breathe, cursing myself and my cat. So you need a little box or ring holder to put on your table and I need to keep my inhaler in my medicine chest!
