Okay so, I am terribly (and i mean TERRIBLY) absentminded, and it's always worse if i'm stressed or in a rush. The things that are normally first to go, are the things that should be last, which is taking care of myself. So i am making a list that i guess is a little personal but, darn it, if i write it here i'll loose it on my desk!
These are mostly "me" things, the few that aren't are ones that give me little "havens" of sanity, which is about me even if it's cleaning.
Morning Routine Get up at 8 am at latest.
Take a shower
Dry hair BEFORE brushing it
Wash Face
Brush Teeth
Use face moisturizer
Make sure hair looks nice
Makeup
Try to at least wear earrings
Use scar cream on wrist
Evening Routine Exercise
Take meds with DINNER, not before bed!
Clean cat box
Maintain bathroom
Floss
Brush Teeth
Wash Face
Moisturize again
Use scar cream on wrist
Take 15 minutes to just de-stress. Meditate, or curl up with tea, or whatever I want. But make the time for me.
This will probably grow as I get into some better habits, but for now we'll start here.
Weekly
Make sure I have enough cash to get by for the week
Meal planning
Grocery Shopping
Empty the car of Trash
Take out room trash/bathroom trash if it wasn't needed before.
Go up one rung in exercise plan.
Monthly or Every 2 Months
Get haircut and dye it.
Check that maintenance is not due on car.
If it is, get it done.
Vacuum the car, shampoo if needed
Wash the car
Check that toiletries don't need replacing
Buy litter
Every 6 Months
Go to the dentist for teeth cleaning and probable cavity filling
Throw out any toiletries that could have gone bad during year
Make the "money" phone-call about the work-related stuff, decide if I sign up for the next six months.
Every Year
Go to the endocrinologist
Go to the "girly" doc
Throw out any makeup that could have gone bad during year.
Deal with insurance plan, put money in health care account.
