This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.) EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple: - Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing. Once you have 3 things done, post them here.- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again. [/color] Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post. Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da! If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you. Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM![/b]

merrymaid - but you did get up. Yay! And considering the last lists I've seen from you, you totally deserve a nap.
I'm up, and hoping things are resolved at work today, if they are, i will work from home tomorrow and work on the house and then be able to get some errands done.
TaDas 1. Got up, at 8. 2. Packed Lunch, it's sitting next to my purse ready to go. 3. Heated up breakfast, eating it now. 4. Got dressed.
ToDos 1. Finish Morning routine. 2. Grab everything for work and go this includes financial paperwork for THE CALL. I may treat myself to coffee from starbucks on the way, not sure. 3. make "THE CALL". Sometime during the day. It may mean hiding in a quiet guest desk room with my lunch and putting something in front of the window, but I will get this done!

Hi Cavylady Way to go, getting so much done! Sometimes backwards is good Stressed, I'll be thinking about you today, getting your situation sorted out. How great to be able to work at home! Sending good vibes that your "call" will be easy to make and have the desired outcome. Rosebud, I love seeing the pictures of your flowers! They make me want to work in my garden... Hope you are enjoying your ride. I got dd to camp on time, came home and have been piddling. I'm about to get busy on my bedroom though. Get dressed and take dd to camp Swish and swiped bathroom. Bag up trash on counters. Clean off top of new dresser (I put all the stuff that was on the old one, but it looks horrible... I'm going to try and find new homes for that stuff.) Recycle laundry. Unload dishwasher and reload it.

Hi Cavylady, Glad you are here. I saw your introduction and remembered you. Doing animals before coffee is quite a concept, much less the laundry. You must be motivated.
Good Morning Rosebud, Merrymaid, and SBTM, happy to hear about your morning progress.
TODO: Breakfast & vitamins Rework my daily list Call for perscription

Good Morning Mad tiger It's wonderful you can take in the baby cubs. I saw a show once, about a lady that did that. It looked like a lot of hard, but rewarding, work! Tadas: Clean off top of new dresser (I put all the stuff that was on the old one, but it looks horrible... I'm going to try and find new homes for that stuff.) Recycle laundry. Unload dishwasher and reload it. I also did my mail and mailed my time slip! A big accomplishment for me. Todos: Clean one shelf off in second bedroom closet. Recycle laundry. Clean off kitchen table.

PS -- NMF -- re: dirty dishes left in car after mad rush to get to work on time. Been there. Done that. Fairly often in the past. I recommend tupperware or old yogurt/cottage cheese containers -- less chance of accidental breakage! Recently, though, I am just collecting coffee cups and water bottles/cans to be recycled. .
