Merrymaid - thank you for the good thoughts. As the case is
TaDas (part of the morning routine got skipped, oh well, try again tommorow) 1. got to work, in time for all my meetings and with all the financial paperwork i could grab. 2. made THE CALL, turned out that was incredibly easy to deal with and they told me exactly what to do and exactly how to do it and answered all my questions. Politely and very friendly even! All I have to do now is wait until the appropriate date comes and I'm all ready! 3. Packed my lunch and brought it with me today. 4. Emptied out 2 work email folders.
ToDo Still while waiting on other people to get back to me 1. Empty out 3 more work email folders. 2. Take financial documents that do not need saving to the confidential document bin so they will be shredded or burned. 3. Clean up all the files on my desktop.

Hi Westside, Well done on getting the mail sorted. That's a hard habit to make and keep. I've had a long day. When I was taking a break from the linen closet, I read an e-mail about a sale for the Right For Life. I've been trying to decide what to do with dd's pram... I phoned dh to make sure it was okay and it was. So I got the base out of the basement, vacuumed it off (it was covered in spiderwebs,) and got the top out of the spare room. Then I got together various other baby things and took down. It took me about 2 hours to get it all together, cleaned, and delivered... I couldn't help but cry when I left it... we'd met to have 5 babies... now I have one, wonderful daugher, and five angel babies. Letting go of it was hard.... but my friend phoned me and said a Grandma bought it for her daughter who is pregnant for the first time. I hope I see the walking around town someday.... So.... my bed is covered in stuff from the linen closet and I'm wiped out.. I'm going to try and finish it today though. Tadas: Clean one shelf off in second bedroom closet. One shelf done... contents 3 and 4th shelves are scattered all over my bed! Recycle laundry. Clean off kitchen table. Todos: Finish linen closet. Make dinner and tidy kitchen. Go through upstairs bookshelves for books to donate.

{{{{{{{{{Merrymaid}}}}}}}}}
Wantinmore said it beautifully. All I can do is add my hugs and good wishes to your family and the family who is benefitting from your generousity.
Good job on the shifting loads and other tasks, wantinmore. And on vacuuming and loading the dishwasher all in the same period of time! Usually I can manage only one or the other. WTG on doing both!
I took a little digression on the afternoon plans. Decided it was too messy still to add to the chaos by unshelving and grouping and then reshelving books. But I do have some TADAs anyway.
TADAs: 1. Cleaned bathtub and sink and toilet 2. Cleared out excess and outdated papers from about 6-8 files 3. Found a better place for some of the crafts stuff for crafts-in-progress, thereby freeing up some space for eventual book reorganization.
TODOs: 1. Swim 2. Move another bunch of craft stuff to reduce visual clutter and add to potential book-sorting space 3. Meeting tonight
Hope you all continue to have good days/evenings/nights!

As the case was, folks did get back to me before I had 3 more tadas on the side. but, here's what i've got so far tonight.
Tada 1. Took the unneeded papers to the confidential bin. 2. Have put the beef and red wine in the crockpot. 3. Put away all the clean clothes on the bed. 4. Noticed a stain on my white sheets !!! so stripped them to wash hopefully tomorrow. 5. Took out a bag of recyclables to the center (it is in between work and home so i can make small loads and not feel bad) 6. Got the recyclables can where I can lift it by moving a couple things out of it. There are still 2 bags + random stuff around them, but the actual bin I can now take out and empty in the morning. It has been full since I dont know, january? with glass (so very heavy).
ToDo 1. Put clean sheets on the bed 2. Evening routine, exercise. I went to the bar with some other employees tonight then had sandwhiches at home that werent so healthy. So definately need to not skip as i did mon/wed of this week. 3. Check the crockpot with the beef as needed. I probably need to set an alarm to check on it around 2am or see if the roommates will be up to check on it.
