I have so much to do in the next few weeks that I feel like I need to get past that phobia for now.
As some of you may recall, I had a major plumbing overhaul recently. I have been doing pretty good at maintaining the areas I already improved, but need to get better. I have a handyman coming in 2 or 3 weeks to replace my front and back doors and broken window, and then after that, I'll be planning for a home appraisal within the next 6 weeks to refinance my house. So for that, I really want the house to actually be CLEAN. Also, the handyman is someone I know, who is in my circle of friends, so I want the house to be "normal" whereas I wasn't as concerned with the plumbers who were total strangers.
This weekend, my list includes (with what I have done already enetered)
mow - done weed eat transplant plumeria tree
clean out storage room - 4 bags plus large stuff gone clean under dining room table sweep - going to do tonight on commercial breaks mop - decided to wait until next week dishes - 2 loads laundry - 3 loads fridge & freezer - tossed freezer-burned and too-old food. still need to clean change litter boxes - done
unplanned stuff changed old ratty shower curtain for new pretty one - done cleaned stovetop - done scrub bathroom vanity - done

Thanks.... one more load of dishes and laundry done.
The reason I have so much laundry to do is that in cleaning out the storage room, I have found a lot of good towels, linens, and some clothes neutral enough to still be in style after being stored a few years, so I am throwing away what is not usable and washing what IS usable as I go.
