Lots of action here today. I started the thread this morning, but then I got sidetracked. Spent several hours outside. Weeded. Tied up a rose that I noticed had started to bloom. Raked. Cut branches. And so on and so forth ... Kitchen? Forget about it! Wish I could post the fragrances from my 'jungle' ... i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm27/fotbuk/Hage/doublerose.jpg[/IMG]

Wow!! Y'all have been so busy!! Syzygy, I'm glad you've got your computer sorted out! I hate when ours messes up. It's amazing how much we rely on them. Rosebud, Working out in the garden, isn't sidetracked, it's wonderful. I can almost smell your roses. Creative Chaos, Well done at getting your car sorted and emptying your storage shed. Bluefrog, Sleep is good It's hard to do anything if you haven't had enough sleep. ArtsyGal, I feel the same way. Posting helps me to do more. Seeing what everyone has done helps me do even more. Well done at cleaning up the "bad" messes. Dragonchilde, Please don't kill your husband's boss! . Make him mind the baby at 3am 14 days in a row instead You're doing great. Neveropenthe closets, I hope you enjoyed your walk Well done for getting ready for your landlord visit. You can do it!! Westsidestory, I'd love to read about your art projects. I'm so not artistic. Well done on getting your canning supplies put up, ha ha, put up!! . I was busy too, but with other things that what I had planned. After Church, I went to my Mom's, went to the store, made lunch, went to a baby shower, came home and took a nap. Todos: Fix supper. Clean kitchen. Recycle laundry. Also: Make plan for mudroom clean out. Work on a daily routine (sort of the one Mouse is doing based on FlyLady.) Will check in later.

Good evening, folks--or whatever time of day it is where you are.
Nice work, everybody! It's too hot here to get much done, really.
DONE: -finally got a shower! -emptied the dishwasher -comforted the dogs in a thunderstorm. The cats looked up, like, "Eh, noise. Ooh, lights." and went back to sleep. -folded/hung up a load of laundry -started another -changed the bed linens -ate a snack and cleaned up after
TO DO: -fold and put away clean sheets -clean up after dinner -take evening meds
Whatever time of day it is, enjoy the rest of it!

I wound up not getting to the clothes, but in a fit of anger, I did ALL of the dishes... 2 1/2 loads worth! Anger is my best motivator, sometimes. The counter is dirty-dish free! I'm so thrilled. Granted, I ate supper an hour and a half after everyone else, but honestly, I knew that if I stopped to eat, I wouldn't finish them, because I'd have to nurse the baby, help get the toddler ready for bed, and then by then, I would have lost the motivation. So I did them.
Ta Da:
1) Did the dishes, 2 1/2 loads 2) Ate supper 3) Threw away a damaged countertop grill that I wasn't sure would be safe or not... decided it wasn't worth the risk 4) Scraped all plates AND washed supper dishes 5) Put away most of the dishes

I'm the same way, Dragonchilde. If I got angry more often, I'd have an immaculate house! Tadas: Fix supper. Clean kitchen. Recycle laundry. Also: Move dh's dresser out and put my old dresser in it's place. He decided that mine was better. I emptied it out, helped move it. He has to go through his clothes and put them in the new dresser... I hope he does it soon!! I'm off to bed soon. Hope you all have / had a great night!

No kidding, I clean when i'm angry too. Unfortunately it means whenever I clean my roommates assume I am angry (which is not true, I clean at other times too).
Merry maid- i hope he does too! Sleep well.
Tadas for today 1. Took out the bin of recyclables and 2 bags worth. 2. Worked on the first scarf, got another section done. 3. Wiped down the desk in the living room 4. Vacuumed the living room. 5. rewound the cat's rope toy and clipped off the frayed parts. (it took a WHILE to untangle). 6. Organized the entertainment center 7. Vacuumed and febreezed the futon (one of 3 pieces of furniture to vacuum).
Unfortunately there was some stash and dash from the living room into mine (still a solid Stage 2), but at least there are areas of the house getting cleaner and my room is not getting worse than when i started coming here.
ToDos Tonight 1. Relax a little, wash face, brush teeth, floss, use moisturizer, the rest of the evening routine is just too much right now. Sleep.
