Hello Hypatia, Westsidestory, syzygy and bluefrog. Hope doggie is ok bluefrog! Syzygy - what is "new month stuff"? Fell asleep for an hour..........low energy today, as usual. Have to resort to 5-minute segments of work and hope I can expand on that. Going to set some very small goals and try to do those. I'm in chat if anyone feels like popping in.
TaDa! -put clean laundry away -brought snow shovels and other stuff out to shed ** found a nice rubbermaid under-the-bed box that I can use! -crashed on the couch for an hour -ate half a sandwich and drank some iced coffee for lunch
To Do: -decide what to do with 6 of the books on/next to the hopechest -throw away 10 pieces of junk mail -wash out rubbermaid box

Congrats all on such a productive day! I think I may be making headway enough in organizing everything and my life that things hopefully will calm down soon. TaDas so far (it's 2 30 pm) Got up before 8 am Got the car inspected. No repair bills to have it pass. Packed my lunch for work today and got breakfast at home. Got to work in time for my meeting. Made yet another financial call (I'm not in trouble, just a lot going on lately). I am starting to LOVE the company I am using, their customer service is so nice I never dread calling them, so I don't put it off anymore! Called the Vet, have a wed before work appt to get the cat her vaccinations (I wish I had remembered 2 weeks ago at the last visit, I would have had it taken care of then, oh well). ToDo Empty the trash that's still in the car trunk Maintain the interior of the car and wash the windshield Clean the recyclables bin and the small reusable bag. If the bag cannot be cleaned, replace it. Wash the bathroom rug....again. I'm irritated at the cat beyond belief now but I am going ot find a way to break her of this! Wash the laundry, at least the bluejeans, and my bedding. Make the bed up with clean linens.

SBTM, good job on all those red checkmark TADAs! About your kitty -- I once was adopted by a very affectionate male cat who followed me everywhere, even the bathroom. Later on, I found him perched on the toilet seat, neatly doing #1 into the toilet. Wonder if your kitty has decided to relieve herself in the same place like the humans do. . Once cats get accustomed to relieving themselves in a certain place, it's hard to break them of that habit. Good luck! TADAs: 1. three things rounded up for donation 2. started dishwasher 3. more work on container garden I'm starting to make compost! Yeah!!! *bonus* (?) too much time on computer looking up updates on knee treatment/injections of synthetic or biological synovial fluid. All this gardening and art project making has been hard on the old joint. Sigh. *bonus* cooked a little salmon for salad, and making fish chowder (got scraps and trimmings from fishmonger -- a lot cheaper than whole pieces) TODO: 1. swim 2. lunch 3. thrift store and other errands Keep up the good work! Ta dah * Grocery shopping * Cat food shopping * Put away groceries I just wanted to dump the groceries and do them later, then I remembered that if I put them away that would be 3 things and I could post! My "new month" stuff is based on my Franklin/Covey planner. I've been using one for years- and it's the way I've been able to organize information and tasks in order to get huge projects done. It uses a top-down approach to help you work on big goals you want. First you decide what things are most important to you- financial stability, good health, education, etc. Then you come up with big goals relating to them, such as "set up a budget" or "eat better". Then you write down smaller parts, then bite-sized parts that get listed on your daily to-do list. I like it because it helps you do things that are important to you, but aren't necessarily urgent. One big goal was "go back to school"; I worked out a plan that I did over several months, but didn't have to spend hours on each day. The system uses a daily planner with a two page month layout and lots of other useful pieces. Every month I summarize the daily things on the monthly index page, put the old month into my storage binder, then put the new month into my binder. At that time, I also come up with a list of things that I want to do this month or week. The daily list (for me) ends up being a step above Listzilla. For example, I might put "clean bathroom" in the planner, but in Listzilla I'd note "scrubbed bath", "collected scraps of soap and tossed them all".

Well done, putting the groceries away, Syzygy! Your organizer sounds interesting. I went to my Mom's, picked up dd's friend, took them to a pottery place, then to blockbuster's to pick out movies and finally back here. DD is having a friend sleep over for the first time! I'm so happy that things are orderly enough to let it happen. Tadas: Check mail and sort junk. Tados: Recycle laundry. Figure out something to have for supper. One thing in the mudroom.

That's a hard thing. Tadas: Recycle laundry. Figure out something to have for supper. Chicken and noodles on the stove. One thing in the mudroom. Took glass to the kitchen, through away a paper cup, and put some shoes in the laundry room.todos: Finish making supper (without burning it!) Clean kitchen. One thing in the mudroom.
