Urgh. It's hot, I'm sleepy, and I'm having trouble staying motivated. Thank goodness you all are around for inspiration!
DONE: -emptied the dishwasher -filled it and ran it again -emptied the dishwasher again -ate lunch -folded and put away sheets
TO DO: -clean up after dinner -medicate the dog -sweep the hall and maybe the kitchen
Hey, Syzygy! I saw in an earlier post that you toss soap scraps. I know it's sort of silly, but I get a frugal kick out of gathering them all up into a teeny mesh drawstring bag (think dollar stores) and REALLY using them up. The bag sits in my bathroom soap dish, just like a bar of soap, and every used-down-to-a-nub scrap gets added to it.

I used to use soap right down to the icky wet lumps and tiny slivers- in fact, I have a mesh bag like the one you describe. Then one evening when I was trying to make enough suds to clean my hands, I snapped and tossed the scraps in the trash. That was it- so now once it gets small enough I toss it.

We use the liquid soap.... I can't stand the film the bars leave on the dish. I know it would be more cost effective to use bars, but I would never get the bathtub clean! Finish making supper (without burning it!) Clean kitchen. One thing in the mudroom. I didn't remove anything, but did shift things about a bit.I think I'm finished for tonight. Hope you all have a great night!

You all have been an inspiration today. I've gotten some done, but overall I've been very sluggish. My daughter is here now, and she is going to help me make some headway in the living room before bed time. I was unable to complete my last list of 3..........though I did check my voicemail. Hopefully will be able to clear the floors with my daughter tonight so I can vac in the morning. Hey, how come no one seems to use the chat room feature?? Does it make you work slower or something? Seems it would be a fun way to cheer one another one at times! Carrie

Syzygy - you are amazing! What a lot of things you've accomplished today!
carrie7on - hope you and DD made some progress on the floors! Also, good job checking voicemail, I tend to never do that...
The landlords are coming tomorrow, so it's going to be a late late night! I plan to desqualor mostly tonight, and sweep a little but mop/vaccuum/dust tomorrow afternoon - when there's enough light to see and I can get to the floors etc.
Tadas: 1) Started cleaning living room 2) Put out garbage and recycling 3) Unloaded dishwasher and washed dishes in kitchen
Todos: 1) Finish cleaning living room 2) Put away clothes in office/laundry drying room 3) Put drying racks in garage and sweep office/laundry drying room
