Hello everyone, joining you all late but I have been working.
Done: 1. Collected garbage, green cart and recycling and took to curb. 2. Spent day volunteering at church sorting/storing yard sale items. 3. Drove elderly lady home and dropped off a shirt at my mum's house so she can return it.
1. Found missing digital camera (but tore house apart looking for it ... urgh). 2. Scrubbed stove and cleaned/decluttered counter. 3. Washed dishes, pet bowls and cleaned sink.
To Do: 1. Pick up daily clutter in tv room. 2. Vacuum tv room and living room. 3. Wipe bathroom fixtures, scrub toilet and mop floor.

*laugh* at magazine comment.
Urgh... one step forward, two steps back.
Done: 1. Started to exercise with bf downstairs, when Brat Kitten showed up, in a hyper mood. She went roaring around the basement and managed to knock down and dismantle my antique dresser mirror.
The wood cracked on all four corners, and the frame fell apart. I burst into tears. BF got annoyed that I was affected by "just some old thing... just junk". The lovely carved oak mirror was the very first piece of antique furniture that I refinished. I was 15 at the time, and bought it for $20, covered with goops and layers of dark paint. Not junk at all.
2. I was really upset and sent him on his way, and tried to fix/nail the mirror. The inner frame is fine now, but the outer corners will need to be glued, braced and screwed. URgh.
3. Cried a bit more. Stopped crying. Picked a couple of books to read in the basement. The three cats joined me. Not a lot accomplished tonight. *SIGH*
TO DO : BED

Seems like everyone is getting lots done today. Yay for you all! Here is what I would like to get done before 1:15am (when my DH gets home from work). Vacuum whole apartment Give 3 younger cats their monthly liquid flea stuff Clip older cat's claws Give dog a bath (luckily she is small!) and her liquid flea stuff And if I get all that done, and I have time, I want to try to do a load of laundry, but we'll see how it goes. I GOT MY LIST DONE, BUT I AM TOO TIRED TO START LAUNDRY NOW. I AM HAPPY I FINISHED WHAT I SET OUT TO DO AND WILL MAKE LAUNDRY A PRIORITY ON JULY 8th.

I hope you know there are so many of us here who understand how you feel and care. Even if the mirror frame is never the same, you will always have that accomplishment of refinishing it. And you DID accomplish a lot tonight. You have proof that you have a beautiful, sentimental, caring heart, and can express your feelings. Even in hard times (which have been a lot for me lately), I try to remember to be grateful that I FEEL things. I spent so many years trying to push down my feelings, to feel in control instead, that I was numb. It's still foreign to me to express my feelings, especially grief, loss and anger. So.... it may sound weird, but I am super proud of you for FEELING. I have faith that you will make your mirror a new and improved version of itself. That being said, I still think your guy needs a kick in the rear. I am sending you lots of
