Good morning rexroth & eagle! Eagle, the water drinking on your list is an inspiration for me today! I'm going to have loads of water, especially as it's supposed to be quite hot later in the day.
Yes, my dd likes French. However, she had a poor teacher for her first year, and is starting high school in the Fall where she will be taking French II at the honors level. I don't think she knows enough French to do well in French II, so I am teaching her French I over again during the summer. (I was a foreign language/education major in undergrad). So far she's doing well, but needs a lot of practise, particularly with the spelling and pronunciation.
Rexroth, so sorry you are coughing and dizzy today. You're wise to work on administrative-type things and reading/writing and leave the other stuff for another day. I'm sure you can still come up with enough to do so you'll feel you had a good day, even though you're not feeling your best. Sending good vibes your way to help you feel better ASAP!!
I have to work a few hrs today, but most of the day is mine. Too bad the work hrs fall in the middle of the day, so I don't want to get anything major started this morning that will have to be interrupted. Mostly I'd like to work more on the bedroom and see if I can finally start making progress in there again. Then there's the daily maintenance stuff, have to hit the grocery store, and decide on something for dinner for me & 2 dd's. Will break it down into lists of 3, as always, in the WIT board!
Everyone have a happy and productive day!!
Carrie

Hiya Saffron! Funny, I took a CEU course a few weeks ago and still need to take the online exam for it. Keep putting it off! In fact, I still don't know how many CEUs it will count for, they weren't sure when I took it (it was mandatory). Must look into that..........
I've been sidelined by headache and fatigue again today. This is extremely frustrating and is making it very hard to make any progress at all. Not only in my housework, but in every area of my life. Here's to hoping that my doc(s) will be able to pinpoint what is causing this daily fatigue and treat it so that it will GO AWAY!!
In the meantime I'm just going to do the best I can and rest when I get very tired, at least when I am home. Usually when I take a nap I get 1/2 to 1 hr of feeling better, then the fatigue seems to creep in again. Going now to check out the bedroom & see what all is left in there to sort/purge/organize. Then I will need to make shopping list and head out to the grocery store. (not in the mood - sometimes I enjoy grocery shopping, but not today)
Sure hope you all are having a more productive day than I am!
Carrie

Rexroth--Thanks for starting the thread. I don't like that you are dizzy. You don't have a fever, do you? Please just take it easy today until the dizziness goes away, at least. Hope you feel well, soon.
Eagle--I can't believe you zeroed in on the garbage yesterday! It truly was an issue here yesterday. In the morning, I glanced outside in my backyardand saw my puppy carrying a big, dead bird in her mouth. I made her drop it and come in immediately. But, told my son to bag it & put it in the outside trash can. He finally did that... But, later in the late afternoon, early evening...I went to put that trash out there & it smelled awful when I opened the lid...not unexpected, though. But, I noticed that the bag with the bird was open!!! He had not tied it. Argghh! So, when he was thru working, I made him go out & fix it. He did...
It is one of my pet peeves, too, that the trash bag not be put in the trash can upside down. Simply because stuff can leak out unless it is tied especially well. So, when DH or DS just toss them in there any ole way...it is irritating to me. (Maybe because I don't want to wash out the trash can which has only been done maybe twice in many, many years...)
Saffron--Luv your cheery list with all the hearts. Yay, for getting CEU stuff read!!!
Carrie--Hope your fatigue & headache goes away quickly.
Today's Tadas: *Went to Boot Camp this morning. *..then came home & slept until 1pm!!!! OMG!Can't believe I did that. Missed weigh in at WW so will have to go tomorrow. I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep lately but think I may have caught up today. *Drank 2 glasses of water. *Ate an apple.
6:42pm -- Where did today go?! *took DD to put application in at vet's office *took DD to Taylor Drug so she could buy some medical supplies to keep on hand in-case of emergency *folded/hung load of laundriy *put that load away *put another load in the washer *drank another glass of water *made healthy lunches for DD, DS & self *took sandwich to where DS is working since he forgot it.
7:29pm *went thru today's mail...all need to keep except 1 into recycle bag, put bill & check into Office in a Bag *spent 20 minutes decluttering in hallway--2 bags of trash, big stack of papers/magazines into recycle bag, 1 thing into giveaway bag, office supplies in office supply closet, a few pens into pen holder in kitchen
1am Got a headache & still felt sleepy most of the day. Face was still a little red, too. I had my DD take my pulse but it was fine. I finally resorted to 2 Excedrin & 1 Sudafed for the nasal stuffiness I was having and finally at 12:30pm feel pretty darn good... However; I know that I should be sleeping now. *drank 3 more glasses of water for a total of 6 8 oz. glasses *ate healthy today *folded/hung load of laundry *put that load away *moved another load into the dryer & hung the hang-dry things *put another load in the washer

Goodnight, rexroth. That's great you're making progress on the landlord's file. Carrie, how was your work day? I know what you mean about not starting anything major. I didn't go to a meeting at work today, because that would have been right in the middle of the stuff I have to do. I hope your MDs will be able to pinpoint the cause of your headaches and fatigue. eagle, did you get to your salad? CanDo, It sounds like you really needed that nap! Yea, for going to boot camp! Logging off for the day. Going to read some more, then nap before work.
