I want sympathy please.
it was the dog that NEVER has an accident ever, since she was about 9 months old (she is 4.5). I guess she was sick and didn't know what to do with herself. my bed is her safe place.
I had jsut washed not only the sheets, blanket and comforter but the mattress protector, the night before. thank goodness I had put them back on the bed!
I only discoivered this at midnight and I had NO other clean blankets or sheets so I had to use old curtains as blankets and sheets!
I had to put off washing it till I get laundry money.

And some more sympathy. My cat did this when she was unwell and we were both sorry.

Lots of sympathy here from a dog lover. I hope your dog is back to normal soon.

OMG. You poor dear. And your poor sweet poochie. Big hugs to both of you. I once took care of a very ill doberman. He slept in the bed with me for comfort (his, mostly), and it was rare to wake up without finding something that had come from one end of him or the other. And worse, this happened just after you'd just washed everything - you still get kudos for washing all your bedding and putting it all back on the bed - what an awful drag! (Hmmm... I wonder if maybe there could have been a new soap or something that she's allergic to, or that just had an unfamiliar smell that upset her system a bit?) If you're shy of laundry money and you've only got the one set of bedding, maybe you could try washing them in the bathtub? (There's a link on the "laundry" thread, or I can track it down for you if you like.) Regardless, am sending you tea and lots of sympathy. - Evelyn

Yikes I really feel for you - it must have been very distressing so virtual hugs coming from me too. I can't offer any suggestions for washing - could you borrow a sleeping bag from anyone? Evelyn - but you made me laugh! I have two elderly dobermanns and keeping up with the washing of their bedding is impossible and I am increasingly likely to find deposits around the house! Sparkly
