20 Days I for one am tired of the dreary days of Winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. I want light. I want Sunshine. I want longer days. I want to sit out on my patio and soak in the warm rays of the Sun. I want to banish S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) that makes me sleepy, sluggish and tired all the time. Tomorrow begins the month of March, with its promise of the beginning of Spring 2010. Please join me in counting down the days. Here's to cheering us all up with the prospect of Spring flowers coming soon!!

I am with you. Here where I live we have been having unseasonably warm weather and the flowers are already blooming. I hope that we do not get a late freeze that will kill off all of the lovely blooms.

19 Days Glory be!!! It's the 1st of March 2010 and the Sun is shining. Actually -- it's sparkling off the snow. What a marvelous change from the last week. Out with the gloomy days of February and in with the sunshiny days with the promise of Spring!! Our purple Crocus bulbs should be popping up soon

18 Days It's another bright sunshiny day here in the northeastern USA. Two in a row on the 2nd day of March. WooHoo!!! Wow -- Gottaproblem -- You have blooms already? Lucky you! Mystic Pegasus -- You can have Winter. It's all yours for the time being Daffodils come up after the Crocuses. I just know they'll soon be poking their little heads up through the snow.

I just realized I'm supposed to make Easter Dinner for everyone, and my Christmas stuff is still in the living room. I've got to get a grip on the soon-ness of spring, also.
Last week I planted pansies in Grandmas Oregon flower beds. Should do that in mine, but I haven't weeded them yet.
It really is nice and sunny today. Cloudy but not rainy, and it seems much lighter, like the sun is getting stronger.

17 Days I can't wait either!! Hurry, Spring, please hurry!! Winter is trying to poke in again ~~ with snow flurries today. But, temp is close to 40 degrees F and the snow from our X4 snow storms is finally giving way to lots of visible grass. The first color we see in Spring will be the bright yellow of Forsythia bushes. Then, the Crocus and Daffodils.
