I don't even know what alot of this stuff is for pities sake - so maybe I will take it to the pawn shop and sell it for whatever I can get. I will need a couple of screwdrivers and a hammer to dismantle stuff - that is all.

Yes and tools are heavy too......keep only what you will use. Sometimes an adjustable wrench is very very handy if you have to change out a toilet seat -- but you probably know that. That's the wrench with the little turning adjuster to make the opening bigger/smaller. To be honest I can do almost everything I need to around the house -- and this I found out when DH was working nights and never could help -- with just my leather man tool (which has screwdrivers, plyers, knife blades etc., a small hammer, and one adjustable wrench. Anything further and I need an expert to do that job anyway.

'keep only what you will use' that's wise.
I gave away almost everything to a charity that sends hand tools to the Third World. Being male I felt I should be able to use them but the truth is I couldn't and hadn't for forty years.
Hope someone is getting good use from them.

I have my dad's old tool box, and its at least 45 years old. There's stuff rattling around in the bottom of it that's been there since the 1960s. Its been my only tool box my whole life, but I finally bought a new tool box last summer. I decided its easier just to get a new one than to clean out the old one.

Yep there is wood glue in the tool box from before I moved here - almost 24 years ago!

We have all of our useful tools hung on a pegboard in the laundry room. Never could find anything in a toolbox. Oh---be sure to keep a pair of pliers. They're really handy.

A woman's toolbox only needs two tools, a hammer and duct tape.
If it moves, and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.
If it doesn't move, and it should, use the hammer.
Yes, sell what you don't need.
