i came home from work early today. not my normal thing to do but i have ben feeling so shaky and upset from the eviction and move. came home and came here and read all the nice replies to m photo thread it calmed me down enough so that i grabbed a box of pics and i am going thru them even as i write haha. but i still have this mental image of myself that im such a slob and horrible so i thought that i should come up with at least one thing at home that im good at. and i am good at keeping the litter box clean. i scoop them - there are 2 boxes- everyday. of course we only have one cat but its something. please share what you are good at!

Hugs to you, hope things turn around soon. I'm good at putting others before myself, not always a good thing though according to my therapist.

I'm real good about dealing with trash and recycling. I'm on top of this! I've got 4 recycling bins (soon to be replaced by the city with larger cart) and I recycle plastic, cardboard, newspaper, tin/aluminum cans, etc. regularly.

Can't think of ANYTHING I have been good about lately. But I DID water my potted plants yesterday when someone called to remind me. And I took the reminder as being a freindly sign that he does NOT want to gloat over how I am wasteful and kill so many plants, and thanked him for the reminder.

Laundry! Laundry! Laundry! I keep up with it, I fold it at the laundromat & put it away the minute I walk in the door.
I ROCK the laundry!

I am good at dusting! Give me 5 minutes with a rag and a can of Endust and my whole living room will shine. I like the immediate satisfaction dusting brings.

I'm good at listening. Also dishes: they're either in the dishwasher or in the cabinets by the time I go to bed.

i am better at taking care of my clothes: nothing left just hanging on doorknobs or living on the floor of my closet. I wouldn't say I'm GOOD at this, but I have really improved. But, I am very good with laundry. I am good at getting stains out, and folding / hanging things so they don't need to be ironed. I do between 5-10 loads a week, and am always caught up. It is something I like to do. Considering that until Dec'08, I had NEVER in my adult life had a finished basement/decent laundry area, I do not know WHY I am good with laundry.

I am good at......... Finances: I enjoy taking care of them. Guess it's like a hobby for me. Groceries: plan menu, keep a running list, put away groceries as soon as the bags hit the counter. This thread is good proof that we are each good at different things, so it's OK not to be good at everything!

I am a good caretaker. In the past year, I have had to take care of two family members after surgery/accidents. I have done things that other people would be too squeamish to do.
