An ability to separate emotions from objects would make it a whole lot easier for me!

Honestly, it would be having fewer animals. They do add a tremendous amount to the workload.

Yes, fewer animals would do it. In my case I would like a partially hardscaped and cleverly designed backyard so that my dogs couldn't drag the whole earth back inside on their paws.

@ Hope! Let's all pray this lady never gets a copy of "The Poor Man's James Bond." Ooops, I didn't just say that! For me, I'll take a cooperative family. Failing that, hiring a housekeeper would be awesome. Of course, any housekeeper that worked for my household would need the patience of a saint, organizational skills of Martha Stewart, and the energy level of a small thermonuclear blast.

One thing - the wooden floor in my bedsit, consisting of thin oak slats, restored, renovated, leveled, sanded, sealed, or replaced.

Definitely, more storage space. I really need a walk in closet, and nice big closets in general (my house is over 100 years old and they didn't build in much in the way of closet space). I desperately would love a linen closet and a proper coat closet. If I had sufficient storage space, then keeping things neat would be so much easier. *sigh*
