May your soul be light and free of burdens. May love guide you in all you do. May we practice forgiveness by first forgiving ourselves and may our goals come true. lostchild
I send this as hope for all of us here who need support at this time.

“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It wont happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.” ~ Joel Osteen
“The next time you feel slightly uncomfortable with the pressure in your life, remember no pressure, no diamonds. Pressure is a part of success.” ~ Eric Thomas
“When the world pushes you to your knees, you’re in the perfect position to pray.” ~ Rumi
“If you can change your mind, you can change your life.” ~ William James
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” ~ Viktor Frankl

Thanks to LostChild, Dayeanu, and QuietBird -- it's been difficult for me to post while on the road.
By tomorrow i hope to have come up with a new topic, but in the meantime:
"The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't." ~ "Henry Ward Beecher
Sometimes i've heard this as "tenacity is a strong will and stubbornness is a strong won't."

A lot of Italian sayings are in the form of simple rhymes. My favorite is:
"Volere è potere."
Rough translation: volere = to want è = is potere = to be able or capable (of doing something)
So it's similar to our saying "Where there's a will there's a way."
I have a chalkboard right inside the door of my rented storage unit on which I've written "Volere è potere" in big letters to give myself courage "to want" to clear out the unit and "to be able" to do it.

So often i find myself trying to make excuses instead of taking responsibility.
So, this month, to combat that in myself, making excuses versus standing up and taking taking responsibility.

I've heard it said if someone remarks that someone should do something that's usually a clue that it should be you.

Faith, in its most correct form, never removes responsibility; it removes fear of responsibility. The results are complete opposites with the greater saying, 'God's will is my delight.” ? Criss Jami

LostChild, there's a lot of wisdom in that statement.
Thank you, Charis.
