It has been 2 months now since my husband started being here at home more again. Sadly, this came about because his Dad died in February. Today all of a sudden I started seeing that gradually I am feeling better and I'm in good spirits. Then, when I went to investigate what my husband was doing I found him in the garage and it hit me.....I'm not doing everything now -- he is here and he is contributing to the desqualoring. I feel very lucky. We both made the mess. The garage has always been one of our worst areas (topped only by the attic). He has that garage going in a whole new direction. Sure there are boxes we both are going to have to go thru but geez ---- what a great relief to have two more hands on board. I never pressured him before --- and I knew he had/has a hard time throwing things PLUS I knew it was far more important for him to spend the last months/days with his dad. But it is really awesome to have both of us doing stuff toward a clutter free, organized home and yard.

Wow! what an accomplishment!
Makes me chuckle, because my vehicle can't be put in the garage, for lack of room.
And I drive a BICYCLE!

Oh, and he did tell me that in order to fit the truck in he had to put the sawhorses into the back of the truck. But I still give him a lot of credit.

Oh yeah we're definitely cheering each other on. I noticed a big change after he started watching the TLC hoarders buried alive with me on Sunday nights. He is very very reflective and quiet during the whole show. He always seems to be like me after -- really wanting to deal with our stuff. Where I had expected he would not even watch it or would make bad comments he seems to take it very seriously. Having us both working at the problem makes a world of difference.
