i will be the lone dissenter i found this blog and the replies sort of scary [from the big bad agist perspective of 61+] one day some of these folks will wake up to some sad truths. maybe they smoke. none of them eat very well [tortillas and deli meats for days on end, and I quote]. they don't take care of their teeth: eating all that candy [and how can they in their yuccky bathrooms?]. they laugh at people who are 'grown up'. they won't be happy-go-lucky twenty-somethings who despise responsibility forever. never mind the clutter. what about that lovely YOUNG body that is going to get old some day............ sorry, this didn't exactly brighten my morning.

Isn't it amazing how something can be funny, and yet not funny, at the same time?
Sometimes you laugh because you don't want to cry.

Script: Ironically enough, just this past Saturday, I commented to a couple of lovely young people (late teens/early twenties) that how well they take care of their bodies now has a direct impact on how healthy they will be when they are my (our--yours and mine!) age!
