I let the HVAC guys in the house today to repair my upstairs unit (which of course is in the attic.... and the only entry is thru my bedroom).... *sigh* So, they were here for 45 minutes.... and i didn't die. I told the guys when they first came to excuse the house, but it had been too hot to do much cleaning. And then I just didn't worry about it. Yes, i have laundry ALL over the place, but my kitchen is clean and under control mostly and my house doesn't smell, so I just said "foot on it." If they want to compare my housekeeping to someone elses what do i care? I only see these guys when something goes wrong, . Anyway, I let them in, got my air fixed (it's still a unit too small for the area, but SOME air is better than NO air, )and life goes on. At least now I can clean in some comfort. Comingclean

Good for you! I know you have to feel better. I only got air conditioning three years ago and I can't imagine doing without it. It must feel wonderful to finally have it fixed. I remember the first week I had air condtioning, I believe I was in shock, the house was so cool after being so miserable the first half of that summer, and that summer was so hot I barely went outside after getting air conditioning, the entire rest of the summer.
