You guys are doing great!!! I cleaned up my kitchen, which involved wiping brownie batter off the front of the microwave and the top of the toaster oven. (What can I tell you? I'm an enthusiastic baker. ) Also I soaked a pan in hot soapy water in an attempt to get the burned potatoes off.

I'm washing two loads of dishes and a load of laundry (in hot-ish water). I also defrosted my refrigerator yesterday, after it got TOO HOT to keep my food cold.

GlowWorm--Thanks for doing this challenge.
Today, I washed my dishes in HOT water. There were only a few for a change. Also, washed dog food bowl with HOT water.

I discovered a burnt looking mess at the bottom of our food steamer. The water had all boiled away and the remaining crud that I had been unable to wash away completely, turned black. The crud was mineral deposits from the hard water we have here. I first soaked it with some vinegar, then scraped and scrubbed it and got off as much as I could. But it didn't look a whole lot better. After this burning episode, which I discovered last night, Hubby used his powerful arms and scrubbed much harder than I can and got the black out and even more of the left over crud. Maybe the accidental boiling off was a good thing!

Cleaned up a black blob of who-knows-what that was on the bottom of my oven and smoked horribly last time I tried to cook a pizza! Carrie
