This challenge is inspired by Illuminata's challenges from the old board. Here's how this challenge works: I will give you a new word every day (the night before) for 30 days. Your challenge is to find something in or around your home that is related to that word, that needs to be picked up, organized, cleaned, thrown out, or otherwise desqualored.
Here are the rules: Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me. You are not required to complete every challenge to participate; feel free to pop in and out depending on your schedule. If you decide not to participate, you are welcome to join in the thread to cheer others on. Rules are made to be broken. Creative variations of the word of the day are encouraged! Don't forget to have fun!
Ready? Today's word is GREEN. Do you have a GREEN thing that needs to be thrown away? (Yeah, I know, this could be potentially icky, but that's OK!) Something GREEN that is dirty and needs to be cleaned? Or is broken and needs to be fixed?
Big or small, anything that's GREEN counts.
Good luck and don't forget to report back here when you're finished!

i tossed all the greens in the fridge that were beginning to "go". Also put a bright green pair of pants that are too small for me into the donation box.

Green weeds pulled. More every day, actually. But I did pull a few green weeds yesterday, too.
Green apple eaten. My goal is to eat an apple every day. The malic acid in the apple is good for preventing gall bladder disturbances. Of course I don't have much fat in my diet like I used to, but it was a good habit to have developed, so I continue this practice.
Green clothing washed. Well more than just the green clothing, but there you go.

Emptied the flat ginger ale out of a GREEN ginger ale bottle and put it in the recycling bag.

Sorry I missed the first day, as the electricity was out (again) and it was hot here. This kind of challenge is right up my alley.
Green -- as in money? As in pay the bills? I'll get right on it.

Threw away a dirty paper plate with a green and yellow design; got a fresh paper plate out (with a green and yellow design) and set out fresh food for a very grateful cat

I unearthed two GREEN rolls of Scotch tape buried under stuff on the coffee table and put them away in the correct drawer, so I can find tape the next time I need it.

I gathered my reusable shopping bags so I will remember to take and use them. Some actually are green in color- so I guess this is double green.
