Okay, yeah yeah... summer light viewing.... Fluffy stuff... but interesting how the organizer says that Lindsay is not a hoarder. She says she just needs a system to organize her space. It must be nice to have the connections and wealth to deal with this on a large scale basis. Most of us would love to have someone organize our stuff, and instead, they organize the homes of those poor little ol' celebrities.

Wow, the "hoardy" parts look a lot like my spare bedroom and closet. The nicely labelled neat parts are very motivating!

Apparently she didn't let them film the really bad stuff... so I am curious how it really looked in the beginning.

We, the little people, are messy and cluttered. Celebrities, however, are eccentric and unique.

i don't know much about this poor young woman except for the scandals, and was curious. this is one of the things I read on Google:
She spent several years living out of hotels in Los Angeles, of which two years were spent at Chateau Marmont. In late 2007, after settling down in more permanent residence, she explained that she spent so much time in hotels because she "didn't want to be alone" but that "it wasn't a way of life ... not very consistent."
She also had a turbulent growing up family, and her father appears to have behaved very badly to her. Maybe, like many folks, she is using shopping and things and clutter and disorder and acting out: as a defence against a horrible life.
PS: she seems to have been a talented youngster.

I too notice that all the help typically goes to the already rich. You see it on the talk shows, the home and garden shows -- everywhere. I don't grudge anyone the help -- but I think that the ones who need it more will not be sought out or helped. We have to help ourselves. I did find the transformation interesting -- and I wondered if even Oprah has that many shoes.

I can't u tube with slow speed dial up - but I do know that being rich and talented doesn't also fill people up with love for themselves and just like other people they buy stuff to feel good - just they may have more expensive stuff than us and a better place to keep it in.
I know I read Delta Burke is OCD on buying stuff spending tons of money on warehouses and such - she also has dealt with food and weight issues and infertility issues.

She's rich, what she should do is throw out everything and start over.

Now that Lindsay's going to jail, she won't have to worry about cluttering up her cell.

I think she is sad - so much talent and opportunity and she is so lost - and we see this so so much with celebs.
