So very, very sad. They mentioned having moved other inhabitants and wonder who they might have been. Prayers for that dear woman and her family.

What a tragedy! Squalor can take so much from us.

Very sad. This really affected me... - Seeing all of the things piled up in the entryways
- Hearing what the police officer said about there being only about three feet of space below the ceiling in the room where the deceased woman was
- Hearing what the police officer said about the residents digging tunnels and crawling over the debris
The police officer also said the house is uninhabitable. I can't help but wonder who (if anyone) will clean up the house and how they will do so. I wasn't quite sure how, but I've lifted up the other resident(s) of the house in prayer.

Didn't the officer also say there were toddlers in the house? That's terrifying.

No, I think you misheard. He said there were tunnels (not toddlers) in the house that they used to crawl through the debris. I think there were only two people living there--the 54-year-old woman and her 82-year-old mother.
Still, it's a terrible story. Those poor people. Such a nightmare.

I do not have the software to watch videos. (And cannot update my software.) If anyone finds a written story, could you please post it for me?

Thanks for the written story and pic - trully shocking - how did they live there? that is one of the worst I have seen. I mean how did they even get into and out of the house at all - tunnels?

I wonder what will happen to the daughter now. Horrifying and very sad.
