After some thought, I realized that my Born Organized MIL does not have a laundry basket anywhere in her house, and she folds the clothes as she pulls them out of the dryer. My TA DA's diverged from my to do list a bit, but here goes: 1) Folded laundry for a while. I think I have three collapsible hampers and a basket of "mystery socks" left to go. 2) Found a quilt that my mom made for my oldest boy in the clean laundry that I've been meaning to mend and take back up to his room. Spent an hour fixing the tears by hand. The quilt is really threadbare, but he loves it. We discussed me making a new one for him. But for the moment, his old favorite is back. 3) Noticed an Easter basket on the kitchen table. It's been there since Easter Sunday, but caught my clutter-removing eye today. There is no candy left in it, just empty plastic eggs. It is now on top of the kitchen trash can, waiting to go out in the morning. hehe! Good night. LaughingLark==Your post shocked me! You mean I am doing something that a Born Organized person does?! Wow! Never would have believed that! Also, doesn't it feel good to get rid of the easter stuff? Glad you noticed it & dealt with it. And...you're getting rid of hampers, baskets & mystery socks...Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!! Well, DD and I worked it out... So glad... Tadas: 1)removed linens & mattress pad from my bed 2)put another mattress pad on & clean linens & new comforter--after I was trying to put the new sheets on, noticed a tag that said to wash them first. 3)put new linens in washer More tadas: 1)picked up DH fro airport 2)put left overs away 3)moved new linens into dryer *bonus* put mattress pad in washer Now, I need to go to bed.
