Maybe it finally sunk in that he needed to do this or all of you would end up homeless....maybe not! But whatever the reason he deserves a big for throwing stuff out!!! (You might want to wait a bit before you do that! )

I'm so proud of your husband! And very proud of you, too, for not pushing him. For not "thanking" him, when you know that makes him feel bad.

There must be something in the air - G has emptied a set of drawers and plans to move them out to the shed to use as a tool cabient. I too was excited but concerned about making too much of a fuss in case it shut him down again.

You must be rubbing off on him; at least we can hope so.
The best way to thank a guy is to put the kid/kids to bed and sit on the couch for a makeout session, just like when you were dating . It works wonders.
