Yesterday I bought a new back top. I have heaps of them and where them all the time. They fade over time so I need to throw out an old one.
I'll check in when I have done it.
I also have a bid in on a coffee table that I would really like. If I get it I will shift 2 small tables out of the sitting room.

I also have a bid in on a coffee table that I would really like. If I get it I will shift 2 small tables out of the sitting room. Good for tossing a top! As far as the tables, I think that's a judgment call you have to make. If you don't have too much furniture in the room, and if the small tables make using the room more convenient, you should keep them there. (I'm picturing a coffee table in front of a sofa, and the small tables at either end of the sofa, or beside chairs, which is very handy, and I'd probably keep.) If, on the other hand, you are wall-to-wall furniture . . . well, you know what to do! I know for myself personally, I don't hoard furniture. I have an appropriate amount of furniture for my rooms. Unfortunately, it is all stuffed into two rooms right now - which is horrible. And some of DD's furnture is stashed here as well. But when I dejunk the other rooms and can place my furniture where it belongs, it won't be too much at all. I also don't have pictures or artwork or much of anything at all hanging on the walls. I like wall art very much, but am selective. I tend to hold out for work that really appeals to me. Sometimes it's really cheap stuff, sometimes it's not. In my entire house, I have 5 things hanging on the wall, and one of those is a mirror. So if I found a painting or poster I really loved, and it was in the budget, I'd buy it and not feel I needed to discard any other art.

my vote for Razy's mystery item is BLACK top, because of the "they fade" comment

my vote for Razy's mystery item is BLACK top, because of the "they fade" comment That was my assumption, too. If you're posting from a smart phone, or any program that "corrects" your spelling, you could end up with ANY word, instead of the one you typed! That's the one thing I hate about my iPhone. Whenever I type the word "me", it usually gets auto-corrected to ms. If I stop and correct it, it will usually change it again! I get really sick and tired of the auto-correct feature. I can probably turn it off. Guess I should check that out. (there are entire websites dedicated to funny, horrible, embarrassing auto-corrected text messages)

I can resist most things now except kitchen stuff and my job involves travelling around different supemarkets so I am always tempted by offers and sales.
So far this week I bought a new pepper mill half price, this was on my list to replace once I saw a quality one reduced, I am thinking now though should I get the salt mill today to match. Will throw out old pepper mill this morning.
I also bought a silicone sweet/cake mould of mini easter eggs, it was in the Easter aisle and caught my eye as it was pretty, only small so its fitted in my baking cupboard.
Did resist some storage jars that were half price and match the ones I have, realised I didn't have anything that needed to go in them.

When our kids were young, we used to take a summer vacation with them. We'd rent a cabin on a beautiful lake, close to nice restaurants. The cabin came "furnished" with Just Enough Stuff for a week or two. A few pots, dishes, glasses, silver. Clean linens. We opted (paid extra) for "maid service"' which meant beds were changed frequently, new towels every day. There was "very little"' in the cabinets. No appliances except for a fridge and stove. So no laundry, no dishwasher. Oh they provided a dishrack and bottle of dishsoap. All you needed to add was the food. It was beautifully clean, "minimal" when we arrived. And of course we were expected to leave it the same way when we checked out. It was wonderful, seeing how little we "really" needed. I think of our vacation home every time I feel bogged down with housework. Would I need this electric frying pan at the cabin? No.Then I can donate it. Do we need sixteen bath towels? No, four is enough.Take the best ones, put the rest in the garage for rags. And so on. Of course, I do enjoy cooking for my family, so I allow myself plenty of food, and cooking and baking supplies. But everything is carefully thought out. If I pass a garage sale or a ninety nine cent store, am I tempted to look? No. I have everything I need.

After going to the chiropractor I stopped in the grocery store. I did not have a list and was a bit hungry, but knew I needed celery and vegies since I eat lots of fresh salads. I got cukes, zukes, celery, cauliflower, red peppers, and a couple of onions. Then I remembered I needed meat and found great deals on the chicken and beef I like so I stocked up - 9# chicken thighs, 6# grnd beef in small packages. $73. total.
Earlier this morning I surfed Amazon.com for holders for a small collection I have, then, to get $25 with free shipping, I looked up hair combs since an artist neighbor thought I should decorate them, then I looked at gluten free baking supplies.....and STOPPED!!! Nothing was necessary right now!
I did not get anything from Amazon. I will wait until I NEED to order some supplements to combine a shipment to get the free shipping.
edited for clarity

I looked up supplements for tinnitus/migraine and will buy 4 today if I can find them at CVS or Martin's supermarket, and will buy some Maxwell House decaf, and generic dw detergent. Later today I am going to order some coconut oil from amazon.
edited to add that I did not go shopping after aqua therapy since it was too hard on me, and I over-shop when I am in pain or tired.

I have been sick, unable to shop, and am basically broke for the rest of the month after all the prescriptions, so shopping should be very well-controlled for me for a few weeks!
